Who knew we needed The Patti LaBelle singing "Love Takes Time" in tribute to her friend Mariah Carey. Patti's voice here is proof that at 79, you can still be a power singer. Her phrasing, pace, and pitch are all perfect. Patti's head voice has settled into a new space that allows her to continue selecting registers that few vocalists can. I could go on, but bravo Patti!
