Yeah, put him at number 2 for this season. Maybe get him for another year and place him maybe as the 4(in year 2)and be more of a mentor role but still effective

I like the humphries shout, low risk high reward type of signing that at least gives us a backup plan in the event wallace has problems adjusting to LT

*Humphries was really mediocre in AZ. Would like to see them take a flyer on Becton. Low floor but MASSIVE ceiling. Still young as well and could be motivated to get revenge against the Jets twice a year.*

I’m confused how safety is a need? We have Jabrill Peppers and Kyle Dugger. Not to mention Marte Mapu. I think receiver is still more of a need than safety. Even though I love Polk and Baker

More safeties will allow the team to get more creative with some of the Defensive Packages, especially blitzes. Think Duron Harmon & Tavon Wilson backing up McCourty & Chung. Those guys did not start but played a lot of snaps.

⁠that would mean safety is a need next year . We should ride it out and draft a safety next year. I think we should invest in a better deeper offensive line this year and hope Polk and Baker end up NFL ready or were getting another high pick next year

We would really put people in their labs if we get Brandon for our WR1 Humphrey for Left OT and Gilmore for a vet CB and Simmons would be a great addition

*We STILL need to make moves at Tackle, Corner, and bringing in a Number 1 receiver.*

*Would be happy with Gilmore or Jackson coming back to help in the pass defense. The Patriots are still missing a starting Left Tackle…maybe take a flyer on Mekhi Becton? Praying they still trade for a wide receiver like Tee Higgins. We need a big bodied receiver who can work the endzone.*

@@PatriotsToday I know fans want him but we don’t know if the front office views him as worthy of the contract he desires . You might be right, the bengals might view it at keep the gang together for 1 more run. I still think there’s a good chance he gets dealt at some point between now and the trade deadline just because it feels like to me no matter what he’s hitting free agency next year. You would think they woukd prefer to get something rather than have him leave for nothing but I could be wrong. I guess we’ll have to see how this situation progresses throughout camp because he’s probably going to hold out.

Develop The young guys developed the free agents and the guy we dropped this year and the guys from last year we’re fine there we need another receiver.
