All of these projects are gorgeous! I especially love your heart flag. All who believe in prayer. Could you please say a little prayer for my husband Tom. He had numerous mini strokes. And is struggling very much at the moment. Love all of your patriotic projects. My husband is an Army veteran. And my papa was also in the Army. Have a few in my family who was in service. So my family loves anything patriotic.

Love them all! I think the Uncle Sam pocket is darling. The heart, the truck... all amazing. My father was a veteran and would have been proud to have all on display., as would I. You are so kind and take the time to explain with details. Makes it easy for any skill level to follow.

Dear Tracy, You are so good at creating everything that you make. These 2 projects are no exception. They are gorgeous. The floral arrangement in the truck is breathtaking. I love your style and I've made a pocket that's actually hanging on my front door. I made a sort of wreath using a dowel and I hung torn strips of coffee dyed patriotic fabric across with my pocket on one end full of flowers. I just enjoy watching you create things and you are a tremendous inspiration in my life. Thank you for all that you do and share. 🙏❤️❤️❤️😊

I started out with tole painting and we’re not considered artists. They think its like paint by number,lol. What people don’t realize is that there is alot of technique and talent that for me catapulted me into fine art painting. Wow, wow, WOW!!! Tracy, oh! These are so precious!!!! I don’t decorate for the fourth of July. I’ve just run out of space to decorate and store. 😂 But if I did, I’d definitely want decorations like you made here, especially that truck! 😍I love the things you make!! I’m so proud of you too that you did not let others ugly comments stop you from doing more of those precious pockets!! I made two of the snowmen pockets for Christmas for my sons and putting a candy bar and a gift card in them. 😊 I remember you saying you got some really ugly comments about them. I've gotten to where I sand and prime white on all of my projects at once before using anything. Unless I already know that I'm using the wood piece bare. If I end up using one that is already primed, I can lightly sand it, which is the way I'm going anyway.

Hi Tracy! Do you add anything to your paint when decorating the Jean pockets? Does the paint Crack? Do you have to seal it? Love your style. I'm still a country tole style painting lover❤

I usually do not add anything to my paint when painting on jean pockets like this. I want the hardness the paint gives it. If you want a softer, more flexible painting ....one would need to add something like "acrylic medium" to the paint before painting. I do not have problems with any cracking and do not seal my jean pockets. Thanks for watching and for your questions. Tracy
