Pat Bev and KD are definitely friends off the court. You can see in their faces that they are having so much fun playing against each other.

He’s a great addition to this team with his work ethic. The dog in him will make the Lakers more competitive

I'm a Clippers fan, watched every game Pat played for us, in general we absolutely love him. Unless someone steps up, he's probably the third best player on the Lakers. Don't bet on him to make through season healthy based on his recent history. He's been an undersized physical player his entire career. That's mileage on a 34 year old banger. Hope he shines as the Lakers lose.

@Alex F AD is a mystery. It’s definitely going to take more than a sharpshooter and even Pat and I have so much respect for Pat, its crazy. You gotta think about how the rest of the roster plays out as a whole because LeBron won’t be able to do it all alone, especially if they’re shaping it up against the Warriors, Clippers or hell, even the Grizzlies who have better pieces and chemistry than the Lakers as a whole. Russ is also somewhat of a mystery, but I believe either he’ll make some significant changes compared to last season, and/or get traded.

I used to think that way. I thought he was annoying. But I watched a recent interview with him and he's a straight up guy. The Lakers really need him.

Pat Bev grew up in abject poverty in Chicago, made it out playing basketball and was a top high school recruit, played college hoops in the SEC at Arkansas, got ruled ineligible because he was the only one that got caught having a tutor write papers for him. So then he went and played in Europe for 6 years, made it back to the NBA, and took the position of "I should've been here 6 years ago." I can definitely see why he has utter disdain for prima donnas that went to the best high schools and the best colleges and got away with everything. Pat Bev had to work his ass off for everything he has.
