I love your method of seed sowing! I sowed two trays traditionally and they never germinated, didn't add perlite. So had to resow ones I wanted most. KY wearther stinks. At nearly 70 I need to work smarter like you. Take care of your back and Squeak! prayers for your back and a great spring!

That lettuce looks so much fresher and crisper than the green slime they have in grocery stores.

Dont hurt your back! Maybe make a pully system to hoist the bags of dirt up over the deck railing, or a slider board on the stairs to pull the bags up, and fill the " bus boxes"? Up on the deck! Did you grow in the 4 in pots from seed? Or transplant them from trays?? Id like to skip a step!!! If that works. Was thinking of trying it. It should work fine! Why do we grow in seed trays then have to up pot stuff? Hummm. Only my 3rd yr with vegetable gardening, but each yr i learn alot! I havent planted tomato seeds yet, but love the 4" pot and the clear bins!!!

I have peppers about the same size as yours but some smaller ones as well. The cat thought they were delicious!! So I had to start some more. I have onions started 3 times. Again... dang cat!! But my tomatoes are BIG! I dont know why they decided to take off and grow that big this year. Probably because the cat didnt like them so much.

I bought plants from walmart this, against my better judgement. Some ate up my broccoli and kale before i could even get them in the ground. Not cheap either. Will they refund or exchange?

You can take what's left of the plants back and tell them you believe it had an infestation. But worse comes to worse, call Bonnie or whomever the company that planted them.

hi, yes walmart or home depot usually has a refund policy. and the person workin at the refund counter usually doesnt care much and easily accepts the returns. good luck
