I'm sure you're aware that the word "God" derives from/originally meant idol- it's not like YHWH told humanity "My name is God." It's a word that means "The God." As in, the God of Abraham, Moses, Isaiah, Mary, etc. I mean, anyone spending 10 minutes browsing the Qu'ran can figure this out.

Second, they never say Allah was "forced" into Arab bibles in the 9th century- they just point out that even though "Allah" wasn't in Hebrew or Greek texts it was used when the Bible was first translated into Arabic in the 9th century. Obviously, they neglect to mention that "God" and "Jesus" cannot be found in any Hebrew or Greek text. Both were "forced" into English Bibles in the 14th and 18th cent, respectively.

Coming from someone how studied theology, you cannot and should not ever waste your time arguing over religion. Historical facts about various religions can be debated. The essence of science is fact, and facts can be proved or disproved via reason. However, the essence of all religion is belief. You cannot apply methods of scientific reason to prove or disprove a belief.

@satancreatedallah There's no way to prove that. There's no way to prove that Baptists, Methodists, Catholics, Lutherns, and Jews all worship the God that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Heck, there's no way to prove that Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Paul, and John the Baptist all worshiped the same God. The Qu'ran is about the same characters as the Bible, mostly doing the same things. It might be wrong, but Paul could also be wrong compared to what be thought vs James, Jesus, Moses.

Islam identifies Jesus as a wise prophet, yet Jesus identifies himself as the Messiah. A wise man would not speak such foolishness if it were not true. He cannot be one without being the other. Praise God for loving us so much so as to give us the beautiful gift of Jesus, our one way to reconcile our sinful nature with Him.

The Arabic word "Allah" simply means "God" in Arabic, just like Eloah and Elah mean "God" in Hebrew. Oddly enough, Yahweh is *not* in the Bible, only YHWH. The vowels were lost.
