It's weird that people complain over the Tek Tier like it's some outlandish thing that doesn't fit... Because, historically speaking, somehow the giant futuristic obelisks were still in the realm of making sense, as were the supply drops and strange machinery. But oh man, when the devs expand on that long existing foundation to allow us to discover our own technologies, that's just un-fucking-acceptable. Get a grip. I like that they're adding a lot of stuff. Yeah, they still have to fix other things, but it's almost like that's why it's still a Game Preview, Early Access title, because it ain't done. Wow, mind = blown, right?

I agree that saying tek teir doesn't belong is pretty stupid. Obviously tek teir has been a long forseen addition to the game. even if it is incredibly unbalanced. Anyone who's taken 5 minutes to read the explorer notes know that tek teir makes complete sense. I'm just never going to touch a tek teir server unless I become a part of a high end tribe, which will be.. basically never, because I have better use of my time. It's a shame really, it looks like a lot of fun.

I run this game in high/ultra settings, just turn shadows on medium and some other stuff that it isnt important and there you go, this game runs perfectly in pc, if you want to see bad running, just watch the first generation PS4 trying to run this xD Edit: my pc isn't even a high end one, everything goes around the proper settings.

TriPanda i'm assuming that the end goal will be to have the majority of it's playerbase able to steadily have 50 fps on decent settings. but just a disclaimer: even if it's fully optimized, the design of this game alone will still mean that it will be a beast to run.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Ark. It's a great game with a lot of potential. You can customize the settings so it can be a game for the laid back occasional gamer, and for a hardcore one who plays 9 hours a day. And there's lots of cool features being added. But PLEASE developers! FIX YOUR GAME!!! I don't play anymore because it's laggy and some of the game mechanics are weird. Don't even get me started on the jumping mechanics. I would really love to start playing it again if it gets fixed. So, if any of the game developers read this, (Which they probably won't...) please focus on bug fixes for a few months instead of content. (To all the haters out there: See how I politely criticized the game WITHOUT insulting the developers or using offensive language? You should try that sometime.)

The ARK Doctor I play on Xbox One too. Also, I said nothing about the fps. I'm simply saying that there are some things that need fixed, and I was asking the devs to spend a bit more time optimizing. We've gotten a lot of features lately (Which is great) but not enough bug fixes and graphic overhauls. It's still a great game.

using the excuse "the game is in early access" when people complain about the lack of optimization is just a cop-out. Besides, when will this game come out of early access, if ever? I know adding new features is very important but on consoles(maybe on pc too) there is a bug that create a big blue light on your monitor when you are close water. Thats very annoying so if in another patch that bug will be fixed it would be great.

they can turn off server transferring, but other than that, there isn't a way to balance the servers any more in this genre of games.

I think I have already commented about how mich I like the structures plus mod and how much it improves the gameplay of ark but once again I ask you to add some of that stuff to the official game because I play ark on ps 4 I like how the snap points have been improved and also that they added lots of new items like triangle foundations and slope hatch frames or the option auto close

anyone having issues on the Center map with over spawning wyvern's, they seem to be spawning all over the map in crazy numbers also is anyone experiencing a problems in the redwood Biome on the center where there seem to be no dino's at all in the biome

Can in the Patch 255 add: 1)sleep and if u don't sleep 5 dayes you will start unconsciousing every 5 real minuts after 3 unconscious you will die. 2)Jackets you can put jacket on the shirt (not on armor).This is just for looks. 3)Dodorex and Dodowayverian like a bosses. 4)Radiators you can use for the night and the warm your self.In radiators you need water and generator power.
