Arguably my favorite song from my favorite Metheny album. I don’t listen to it too often, just to keep it’s magic fresh.

Everyone call Pat a genius. And I agree. He is. But he was so lucky to find all the musicians and vocalists that accompany him in his journey. Let's not forget them...

One thing I love so much about Pat Metheny.... his songs always "go somewhere". They end in a different place than where they started. It's fun to go along for the ride.

Stefania Granai I know that it is the greatest music in the world, because my daughter hates it so much.

To this day, I have every Album ever made by this genius of music. My ten years with the military then later on as a Civilian War Zone Pilot with the DOD for ten more years always had a back-drop of the music performed by Pat Metheny, It didn't matter where I was flying in to, this music kept me smiling and the abundance of songs always gave me a soundtrack in to where ever I was going. Today, I still listen to these Instrumental Works and I cannot thank Pat Metheny enough for the work he has put in to each and every song. My all time favorite band. Second favorite has to be Steely Dan.

Yes yes, Steeley Dan is my fav too! You have GREAT TASTE in music! My daughter has been killing me with heavy metal ALL night. This is JUST what I needed. I love all kinds of music but this flavor of Jazz just hits ccx the sweet spot!

I love Pat, and never forget The Maestro nr 2 Lyle Mays on keyboard and all electronic symphonics on his Oberheim.

Great album and wonderful song, I miss PMG immensely. Pat and Lyle were magic together.

7 minutes and 31 seconds of perfection. I could listen to this for 7 hours and 31 minutes. And I want every bit of that as it fades away.

Brings back the memories of those sweaty hot summer days during this freezing winter. Found this song at probably one of the best summers of my life. I love it.

To the musical geniuses . PMG thank you for the great memories..I love to get up early in the morning and start my day with this beautiful sound track .R.I.P. Lyle Mays . You'll never be forgotten.

Pat and the Group made some of the finest jazz ever -- music of the highest quality. One of the highlights of my Antipodean life was hearing them perform in Canberra a few years ago.

As I read through these comments it astonishes me how PMG has reached us all and touched the very root of our souls in the same way. It is hard to describe the impact their music has on so many of us. How fortunate we are!

Pat Metheny Group is the best , he’s big on Brazilian music 🎵, it can be found in a lot of his songs, especially within the Pat Metheny Group compositions , Just absolutely great 👍🏾 music 🎵, .... the beautiful playing of the clavenet by Mays , or him on the synth guitar.. come on man it’s the best!

That synth phrasing was so so close to that of a trombone. I would have sworn that was a trombone with distortion. Pat Metheny is such a brilliant person.

One of the most musical sultry and sexy synth guitar solis I’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing!

It was in the early 80's I became hooked on Matheny. As an artist He's perfect for painting. Astract work or traditional. Remember vocals with Words don't work for the RIGHT BRAIN OR YOUR DAYDREAMER MOMENT. Anyway I had A few cassettes.

This music trips me out. I love it. Saw Pat live in LA several months ago. Dude is truly blessed with talent.

Pat's synthesizer guitar solo is simply unique... Nobody could play the way he does... Lyle's acoustic piano is amazing too...!!!! Steve bassline behind is also perfect... Another excellent song from PMG...!!!! Great photographs too...

A Facebook page should be created to get all PMG fans together to simply request that this band get back together again. Some of the most beautiful music in the world has been created by this group. Our world needs more great music like this. I know there are probably financial obstacles and the evil powers that be might make this a difficult endeavor but if we all get together, maybe these guys will fully understand their calling and get together once again! For humanity's sake....

Pat Metheny, el músico más poliédrico del actual panorama jazzístico. Lo ha demostrado durante estos últimos años cambiando la cara musical con pasmosa facilidad. Cuando Pat aparece solo, luciendo una nueva versión de su histórica camiseta a rayas (inspirada en la remera que usaba Picasso) y esgrimiendo una guitarra acústica, afinada más bajo de lo habitual; empieza interpretando temas de gran belleza, sencillos, cercanos al folk y directos al corazón.

There’s nothing like the smooth , right down groove of the Pat Metheny and the his group , I have been following him for many years and every time I hear any of his music I just stop and get it on. There’s jazz and then there’s relative jazz, but how about genius jazz, and that is what we have here.

Almost Weather Report with guitar! So soothing!

To all of you Metheny fans: Been following Pat and his bands since '75 or so. Yes, I'm old. His creativity and musicology are really unsurpassed in this age of electronic music and the like. If you ever get a chance to see him perform live, please go. I've seen Pat in person over 25 times over the years and usually his band or he alone play straight for two and a half hours, non-stop. Anyway, enjoy his music and be thankful that we all are alive to enjoy his musical journey through life.

And although I have traveled many times everywhere I could never find one of their presentations. I share his music with the hope that he will make others happy as he makes me happy. My Dad listened to Metheny when I was growing up in the 80's and 90's. I still listen to it today at 38 year old. This is probably my favorite song of his. What a journey it takes you on. I love how things are teased and then go away. I love the band and Pat playing separately until they come together at the end. Pat's ripping on the guitar at the end, going away from the main beat and then bouncing back in. It is all just so good! Such pleasure for my ears!
