Sadly, there are some Christians that will get angry with a tweet like that. This is what you get when you invite the world’s values into the church.

There is a humongous portion of society that thinks culture and religion are synonymous. These are the people who say it's racist to hate islam. These also are the people who think growing up in a Western society, in a family that goes to church and celebrates Christmas and Easter, is Christian. These are the people who think Christianity is a result of civilization, and not vise versa. They are the people who get receipts from charities, so they can tell the tax man and get their reward here on Earth. It is very sad, and we should all pray for them, when we go into our private places to pray.

@@geoffreypalmer2661 In context: 15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. 17 The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. Jesus didn't come to condemn the world in His first coming. His Second Coming is a whole other matter. It depends on your definition of "love". The world's definition is the condoning of fleshly lust and justifying its sin. Jesus's definition of love is telling truth and agape love. The scripture speaks of those that say they "love God, but in reality their hearts are far from Him" that is why we must judge righteously and look at everyone's fruit to see if they are of our Father. Too many think that we are to blindly to take everything at face value because it is the 'nice' thing to do. It's not. We must be honest and honestly seeking God and practicing discernment.

I'm not surprised @Danielrecommends. Tailor Swift is a possible witch and like Beyonce etc, leading people astray. Often its the beat of the music, which entices people to them. As I was reading your post what came to mind was Psalm 91. You need to say it as part of your prayers and put their names within the Psalm. I'll write the first paragraph out and you'll see what I mean. Psalm 91 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I Daniel Recommends say of the LORD "He is (put your wife and daughter's names here) refuse and our forest; Our God in Him we will trust." It's a long Psalm so I'll let you finish the rest. Make it personal to you and your family. Use we and our pronounces. There are also Psalms 23 and 121. You can put their names in those Psalms too if you wish. Psalm 91 is the go too Psalm for protection. This is what satan is doing using these celebrities to get to the masses by using their music as that does it every time😥😔😢! I used to like Taylor Swift, but I only listen to worship music now as it glorifies God and its far better. I pray your wife and daughter comes round. I'll pray for them! 🙏🙏🙏

That’s because men and women are not the same. God reveals the differences in Scripture. I take it you’ve never read all of the New Testament? We don’t have the same purpose or the same makeup. 1 Timothy 2:9-15 New King James Version 9 in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and [a]moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, 10 but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works. 11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. 12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. 15 Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control. He made us binary and Jesus Himself defined the only type of marriage that is legal under God’s Law and any other “newly-defined” marriages are just for sinners to mock God’s Holy Sacrament. Matthew 19:1-4 1 Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these sayings, that He departed from Galilee and came to the region of Judea beyond the Jordan. 2 And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them there. 3 The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?” 4 And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who [a]made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6 So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

Our cake is not the same as the woman’s cake. Any man that goes against God’s Word is going to end up no better off than Hitler in eternity. So all the evil men in the past are either in hell or they repented and were given a new heart so they aren’t the same as the man they were before. The whole reason salvation came is because Christ loved us even when we were sinners. Matt 9:12. If God didn't love sinners why did Jesus come. And if he only loves those who repent, why is salvation for sinners, why did Jesus spend His time with sinners and tax collectors if He didn't love sinners. Does Jesus only love people if they repent. That view destroys salvation. Because to be saved, you would need Christ's loving sacrafice, but to have Christ's love and with it His sacrafice, you would need to be saved. That is circular reasoning, it doesn't make sense. We live increasingly in times of deception and this is a classic case. Lots of money can easily disguise huge dysfunction. There is a lot of story left for Taylor-but for now the most mature of us know that her life is not as good as it looks. Most of the young women she appeals to cannot yet conceive of this. While I feel bad for Swift, it is her followers that I worry about the most. They are vulnerable and still making up their minds. It appears Swift and her big-dollar handlers have made up theirs. You are correct--we should continually pray for these that are surely lost.

@@geoffreypalmer2661 You probably heard that somewhere. It isn't accurate. Yeshua/Jesus called people to repentance on his first trip to earth. *And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.* John 12:47-48 *And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling [words], having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. Jude 1:14-16 And, even those 'fake christians' will be judged. But rightly, not as you judge them. *For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.* 2Corinthian 5:10

In the Old Testament, authorities sawed the Prophet Isaiah in half by tradition. We should not be surprised when the worldly people "saw us in half" when standing for the truth. Especially those who are wolves in sheep's clothing... the shallow "Christians" who never want to hear a word about sin, repentance, or God's Will. The "love is love" crowd....

I think the focus shouldn’t be on her singleness, age, and childlessness but rather her actions such as the witchcrafty stuff, mocking Christians in her video, saying she’s Christian but not talking about Christ, etc. I know it’s tempting to focus on her singleness(not married), childlessness, and age but that’s veering off bc some women want those things and don’t have them and are her age or older. I get the connection of pointing those things out but it’s not the black and white heart of the issue.

"This comment isn't loving" says thousands of people who define love for themselves, instead of letting the Lord define it for them. Jesus rebuked and corrected sinners, because the loving thing to do is to call for repentance and turn people toward God. The most un-loving thing to do to a persistent, godless sinner is to ignore them and let them meander aimlessly toward Hell.
