Joel Osteen has gone through so many criticisms and I never understand why he never gave up (because of negative people). Now I understand his calling, message was not for them, is for us. I feel sorry for all the people following these prosperity preachers that live LAVISH lives while they preach to the meek. Its sad that people give preachers like Joel and Creflo dollar their hard earned money so they can buy stadiums fly jets and live heaven on earth. Then when a disaster happens their truth comes out. Its sad how easily manipulated some can be.

Jordan is wisely using Scripture as Jesus commanded, rather than what Joel is doing, yet you accuse him of "projecting". It is a godly thing to be "displeased" with the abuse of God and His Word. Joel even admits in this video he takes random snippets of Scripture here and there, rather than preaching the whole counsel of God. Joel's message is to make you feel good about yourself, and he uses God to do it. God may have "created masterpieces" as Joel says, but that was marred by sin way back in the garden of Eden. Only the blood of Jesus Christ covers this. To ignore this and to turn God into either a pinata or a genie is to reject Christ and your true need of Him, make no mistake. The truth is you HAVE no potential but damnation. This is why it is AMAZING grace -- you have NOTHING to offer God but your emptiness. And He has His own SON to offer you.

Yes Sir Joel... Search your heart for godliness and leave the critics be....

Dawgy Jones Jesus said the birds of the air get fed every day and they do nothing to get it. Jesus said how much more will your Heavenly Father provide for you. The Bible says God will supply all your needs according to HIS riches and glory in Christ Jesus. Jesus said seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you. Jesus said you can’t serve two masters. You will love the one and hate the other. Jesus said you can’t serve God and money. You must either serve God or serve money. This doesn’t mean you just throw your hands up in the air and wait for God to rain down bread from heaven. All of this means that Jesus was just saying trust God to supply your needs because striving for anything more than that is what the unbelievers do. The unbelievers store up treasures on earth, but if you want to do the will of God then store up treasures in heaven. God loves you and the most important thing is where we will spend eternity. Will it be heaven or hell. That’s what is really important and God knows it so he says trust me for your needs to be met.
