Also the lawbreaking fool with a badge....and no knowledge or desire to to hold up the oath that he swore to ...right in front of church. Behavior unbecoming of an officer ! A liability!! Lawyers lawsuits and settlements all paid for on behalf of the taxpayers due to Qualified immunity! Ridiculous. YOU MUST QUALIFY FOR THE IMMUNITY and ignorance is no excuse so how does this work through such a system of corruption , proving they knew the law at the time of the arrest is always recorded and the citizens also put them on notice. So they play dumb? Not alot of pretending involved.

It's really a complicated process. You see, DAs have to justify their jobs by pursuing all criminal charges long enough to financially burden the defense into accepting a plea, or until public scrutiny dies down enough to sweep the dirty cop's unlawful acts under the rug. Either way the DA enjoys sovereign immunity to abuse the public trust and will continue to recieve financial campaign support from the FOP.

If you aren't black and you get into an encounter like this, you will be gunned down without mercy and there isn't going to be 1 news organization, 1 humans rights organization, or alternative news media that is even going to share your story. @@kaneconqueror6560that is outright terrible advice and pls no one fight the police when your being arrested. I cant tell you how quickly shit can change when the cops say hands behind your back your under arrest. The minute they say that you be exactly like this kid. The minute you even make a jerking reaction away from a police officer when he is conducting an arrest they will see it as resisting. Regardless if its a lawful arrest or not in that moment. 1. We fight police corruption, police misconduct by always having our phones primed and ready. 2. Record, record, record everything you can. 3. Always, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS mantain a calm, peaceful respectful demeanor. 4. Regardless if in the very moment your being arrested if you think or know they are violating your rights. Honestly even though it sucks the best thing is to go to jail. Police officers are human but the carry with them deadly weapons that can end your life within mins. Kicking and screaming when they have said you are under arrest along with sudden movements, especially in their direction, can get you at best hurt at worst dead. If you truly must shout at the top of your lungs but never in anyway ever pull away, kick, scream or make any sudden movements in the presence of a police officer especially when they say hands behind your back. The internet along with channels like ATA and social media have been, and continue to be your greatest tools. Along with understanding your local and federal laws.

Every time you say "Just give up your ID, it's not that big of a deal," just remember that this person was not breaking the law but there was nothing he could have done to avoid arrest aside from giving up his first amendment right and leaving. The cop was already trying to get him on trespassing even though he was on the public sidewalk; even if he IDed himself, he was going to get removed from there. As a Christian this made me cringe on multiple levels. This guy was doing nothing wrong. I don’t even think what he was doing was annoying or cause for concern on any level. I don’t agree with his theological standpoint and honestly it doesn’t even make sense but that doesn’t even matter. Even if his sign promoted the worship of Satan himself not only would that not be illegal but that wouldn’t have bothered my church at all. We would have concluded that he either was purposely trying to get a rise out of us and he didn’t believe what he was saying, he really does believe what he’s advertising and should be given grace and patience (he made a comment about your house, not being built on more firmer foundation. Which is actually a really good point and it’s some thing as a church member I would’ve said to my fellow church member as I try to tell him to leave the guy alone because it doesn’t matter what theological point he’s trying to promote. We know what we believe and it’s not going to be threatened by what he believes.), or he’s possibly mentally handicapped in someway. As saying Paul preached, the opposite of Jesus is like saying George Washington believed in a dictatorship rule. It doesn’t make sense. But who knows where he’s getting his information from. None of that matters. He’s allowed to believe whatever he wants to believe. And if I were a member of that church, I would just pity him. As long as he’s not actively harassing people and trying to disrupt the service in someway, it doesn’t matter. He’s on public property and he’s allowed to be there. At the end of the day as a Christian, I want to make sure that I have the right to be in a public space preaching what I believe so why in the world would I try to limit someone else’s right to do the same even if it’s not what I believe? That’s crazy. And the fact that it seems all the police involved were members of the church just made me do a face palm.

Also held his minor infraction case up for over a year. He needs to also go after the Police department in a lawsuit as well. Funny how they "called the police" and the responding officer just *happened* to be a member of that particular church. I'm betting they called him directly. The pastor is the worst kind of religious leader...all smiles and buddy-buddy, but when he can't get his way he becomes nasty and physically abusive. Notice how the pastor left, so he wouldn't be seen as part of the illegal arrest. But he's the one who told an employee to call and most likely told him to lie on his report! That pastor, if he would have just ignored the man, could have explained to his congregation that he's trying to get his own message across and ignoring him is the best thing to do!

Right? An officer of the law conspiring with a Pharisee, er, pastoral administer, to stifle a persons freedom of speech and freedom of religion on public land. Reminds me of 2020 years or so ago in a little town of Jerusalem....

The lying pastor should be charged with filing a false police report! That might get people to start learning 🤔

Wasn't surprised to hear that the office was a member of the Church. Took 20 seconds from first words to threatening with jail, and a further 14 seconds to putting him in cuffs. Would love to know if this officer was personally phoned by a member of the church to come and deal with this, making this a conspiracy. I do think the first officer should have arrested the Shepard for causing a public disturbance. Deliberately trying to provoke something, and expecting the officer to side with him. Would have been so fun to have him arrested instead. Held for 2 days for a trespass? And a year to drop the charges. What a joke. How important is this Church in this town???

in the state of Tennessee, the Pastor could also be charged with assault for grabbing and turning the camera and becoming VERY close in proximity in a threatening manner. Section 39-13-101 states: Intentionally or knowingly causing physical contact with another and a reasonable person would regard the contact as extremely offensive or provocative.

The Shepard assaulted the man prior to any police action, with LEO looking on as a bystander. That is the definition of police corruption.

@@Zkid531 it is either Chattanooga, Nashville or Pigeon Forge according to Google. None of which are small towns. But that does not mean the police force is not corrupt. The pastor should have been arrested for battery, not the protester.

I love how the pastor believes that all he has to do to get someone removed from the street is to become aggressive and ask the police to remove the target of his aggression to keep the piece. Such an easy lawsuit following this police work.

It's not a "belief" when you see it play out as fact. That's exactly all he had to do to get his way. Bet he was smug about that for months.

Well, ultimately he was right. That pastor didn't pay a settlement. He got his power trip, "won" the argument and has made it clear the area around *his* church - including public land - is his little feifdom. This officer is getting paid with our taxes to enforce this pastor's will all while this church pays no taxes.
