Okay people. Douma honestly would’ve been his step dad if she never ran away I mean who can blame her. Pretty sure they both loved each other ( Douma was really willing to let her stay until she got old) I mean who would wanna see his real dad anyway. ( His real dad is a jerk for abusing his wife for no reason) ( And His family and hers)

Okay so for the people who don’t know, Kotoha had insoke with someone else, NOT douma. The father of insoke was abusive, so kotoha ran away, and douma took her in because of her nice singing voice. But kotoha wasn’t an idiot and found out douma was a demon and ran away with insoke. She dropped him off a cliff as douma killed kotoha, and insoke was raised by boar, later found by humans. Inoske finds this out when he and kanao are fighting douma in the manga

Let's just say that in this AU, Douma is Inosuke father

Technically douma(?) isn’t his dad, inosuke mom had run away from her husband him being very abusive to her, she wanted a safe environment for him, she met douma and kinda became a “follower”
