douma killed her because muzan forced him too. He found them at the cliff and forced douma to eat her or else he would turn her into a demon. Douma did not believe in hell and heaven but he did not want kotoha to go to hell. He ate kotoha not telling muzan about inosuke. If kotoha never threw inosuke douma would have to eat him. Douma was trying to make sure they lived. He did not want to eat her and just chased after her to explain (the situation when she saw him eating or with dead bodies)He wanted inosuke to at least survive.

@@Omiriona I don’t get why people hate him I love his personality and his blood demon arts Manga spoiler✨ it was kinda obvious Shinobu would lose by herself because she had to rely on her speed and her poison working quickly because based on the shape of her sword she can’t really deflect attacks as well as others and she can’t cut any limbs of demons and even if she had survived the fight there’s no doubt that she would’ve died during the Muzan fight

No she probaly wouldnt be alive Muzan had found out about a human and went to his home. If she stayed she would have been killed.
