We talked about his career and how I admired his work. He was very gracious and down to earth. The next day he came in again and a friend called me and I told him Frank Gorshin was sitting at the bar. He asked if he could speak with Mr. Gorshin. I didn't want to put him on the spot, but I asked him and Frank was nice enough to take the call and chatted for a few minutes, not feeling put out at all. He was a very classy guy.

I watched this new, during summers and holidays. I favor this version of the game, with Alan Luden as host, and that voice announcing each word. I was only age 6 during 1966, but understood the game. Frank Gorshin was cute. I like his singing.

"No where in God's Holy Word to us,that is The Holy Bible, does God tell us to worship anything or anyone else." No kidding. That's what the Church has always taught. Why would you even say this except to mislead people into thinking that somehow the Church teaches we should worship someone other than God? Acting clever doesn't make you any less of a liar since clearly you intend by your words to insinuate such a falsehood. How would you square this with the pretense that you are a believer? You can't. No liar, we are told in Scripture, will inherit the kingdom of God. All liars, we are told, will be thrown into the lake of fire. So you better get it straight when you make claims to strangers online just what it is you are claiming, because God will not allow you to get away with this kind of subterfuge at your judgment. "God also never commands us to pray to Mary,so called "st."Christopher,"st.Anne,etc." He also never "commands" us to pray to the Trinity "in the Bible." But the Trinity is God. It's irrelevant that the word does not appear in Scripture since the reality is taught. It's the same with any other Christian doctrine. The Bible is not arranged like a dictionary or an encyclopedia. To represent it as such and then to say that such and such is not "commanded" is the same as lying because it's misrepresenting the truth. Praying to Mary and the saints is an ancient Christian practice fully in line with the doctrine of the communion of saints as taught by Paul. It has also come down to us form the earliest creeds such as the Apostles Creed. You, as I recall, are not mentioned in the Bible, and God did not command us to listen to you or be guided by you or get our doctrine from you. You won't find "Sola Scriptura" in the Bible being commanded by God either, even though this seems to be the false theology under which you operate by slyly saying, "Bible" and "Never" and "God" and "command" as if your claim made some sort of logical and theological sense when it clearly doesn't. And you're not fooling anyone by saying, "I was born and raised Roman Catholic," since clearly you are neither Catholic nor do you understand Catholic teaching. "There is also NO rosary mentioned in The Holy Bible" No kidding. There are no Protestant churches mentioned either. Luther isn't mentioned, so why do you believe in some or all of his novel doctrines? Clearly you are following 16th century doctrines rather than ancient Christian ones, so how come none of your gurus are "in the Bible" and we are not "commanded" to get our doctrine from them? Could it be because Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, Pastor Billy Bob, and whatever other tens of thousands of sects and gurus are not "in the Bible" but came around 1500 years later? Does that meant that they, and you, are all irrelevant? Well, that seems to be what you are saying, right? You seem to rest everything, not on actual truth, but on what you think is clever rhetoric. It doesn't work that way. If it does work that way, then Protestant "heroes" and their peculiar doctrines have also been anathematized by your clever rhetoric, so I don't know where that leaves you. You don't even know what "The Bible" consists of apart from the Catholic Church. There is no independent list of books given "in the Bible" saying "these books are 'in the Bible' and no others." That's ridiculous. All of your premises are ridiculous but you foolishly think they are so clever. If what you are saying is actually true, then then there is no reliable Bible that can be the "Word of God." All Protestants clearly take the NT from the Catholic Church since Protestantism did not originate until the 16th century. And then the "Reformers" foolishly took books out of the Catholic canon of the OT, so now you don't even have the same "Bible," which makes all your "Bible" talk moot. What people like you accept for your "Bible" is actually a post-Christian Jewish version of the OT canon, something the Jews determined in council AFTER they rejected Christ, the one you claim to believe in. How's that for "never commanded", huh? Christ never "commanded" you in Scripture (the Catholic Scripture) to excise books and parts of book from the canon of the OT. There are, in fact, curses in both the OT and NT attached to anyone who tries to add or subtract from a book of prophecy. The fact that this was done by latecomers in the 16th century should set off all sorts of alarms, but of course it doesn't, since the whole point of being a Protest-ant is to protest the Catholic Church by hook or by crook. The Rosary is a set of prayers and meditations on the events in the lives of Jesus and Mary. It consists of the Our Father, which is word for word from Jesus and given to us in the New Testament; the Hail Mary, which is contained in its first part in the Gospel of Luke, and in the second part is a petition for Mary's intercession - something fully in line with ancient Christian teaching on the communion of saints. The intercession of the saints in Heaven is even clearly depicted in Revelation, the last book of the NT. Then there is the Glory Be, which is also biblical in nature and is praising the Blessed Trinity "as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be," which is fully appropriate. Other prayers are used too such as the Fatima prayer, if one wants to, or the Creed. The Creed is an ancient compendium of Christian belief, and there are various versions as parts of it were expanded as a result of ecumenical councils defining the Faith against the heretics. But the oldest Creed is generally used, the Apostles Creed. The Fatima prayer is, "Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of Hell. Lead all souls to Heaven especially those most in need of your mercy." Whether you accept Fatima or not, this prayer is perfectly Christian. You do realize that Christians are *free* to compose prayers, right? That doesn't fit with your theory either, does it? According to you, God would have to "command" a prayer specifically in order for it to be used. Your head must be spinning by now so I'll stop. I hope you learned something.
