How could somebody think that the 70s sucked? I was a teen in the 70s and I loved it. It was a care free time for me, that's for sure. I used to laugh at the inaccuracies on That 70s Show.

He didn't have Dementia. He thought he did but there was an amazing, A&E special that captured David before his light went out. His problems, in the end, were caused by alcoholism. It was his liver that was causing problems and the doctor, who was testing him for Dementia, reveealed the truth to him.

That was great to hear that Susan is doing the work she is. In a way ... it fits right into the progressive thinker she played on the show. Who ever cast this show ... deserves 10 thumbs up.

Of course, Marty Engels, Suzanne Crough, David Cassidy, and Dave Madden have all passed away. This leaves Shirley, Susan, Danny, and the two Chris' from the cast that remain.

I agree with everyone who think Susan should take the high road and forgive David. David publicly reached out to her and told her he loves her. Yes, he blew it, but enough time has passed. Considering their history and past friendship she should let it go. Even Suzanne Somers and Joyce Dewitt were able to reconcile after decades of bitterness.

Reuben and Danny were my fav characters

Danny was always the financial wiz of the family so I see him as being the most successful, as a banker or Wall Street wiz.

Most famous people value what little privacy they have....but everyone likes a nice smile....it helps people Get Happy! It is a wonder Chris and Tracey did not have a spin off show back then.

I had such a crush on susan dey in 1970 when I was 6. She lite my candle I new I wasnt Gay. I was so embarresed as a kid.

Very cute tv show back in the 70's. I rarely watched tv,had a strict parent also did not allow us to watch any rock and roll stuff! I knew why! But the music was great! God Bless David Cassidy, I pray for stability and much love in your life, you are a survivor, you can pull through, be strong!

EVERYTHIMNG is so GLORIOUS FOR DAVID, as David had accepted Yahshua before his body died and The Lord and Saviour for ALL OF ELOHIM' CREATED WORLD had it that David's spirit was taken into Heaven to be with HIM FOR ALL ETERNITY. Also, David was MIRACULOUSLY HEALD OF ALL OF HIS TOTLLY COMPLETE LONELINBESS THAT HE HAD BEEN FOR HIS ENTIRE LIFE AND OF ALL OF HIS HEARTACHES AND ALL F DAVID'S HEARTBREAKS.

Susan was smitten with David, and it was painful for her, because David would confide in her about his sexual escapades. It was Shirley Jones who finally told him how much he was hurting Susan. He wrote in his book that they had a moment of intimacy, and she couldn’t forgive him for not respecting her privacy

I just had a look Rose, saw you singing in your kitchen. You are a professional singer song writer. I was learning guitar but, went down too many other avenues. I started to study modern and ancient medicines. I prefer ancient. Modern medicine is huge conflict of interest. That fuels a corrupt organisation. That rakes the world of it's wealth. As I understand it,Susan Dey had pretty much severed all her ties with The Partridge Family brand and then-fellow actors.

If you run into her , I could'nt see the harm in saying , "Hello , Ms. Dey , I've enjoyed your work", leave it at that . But , that's at your discretion. It's cool that you respect her privacy.

I'm glad someone can sort of explain it. Obviously, I don't know them personally, but this pair has always baffled me. I saw an interview with the two of them where Marty (doing all of the talking, naturally) referred to their coupling as, "...the princess and the frog." Nice going, Marty. You must have something!

gotta love Danny, Heard him tell the story of the Partridge days when at home his mother got mad once at him and said she would send him to his room, Danny replied THEIR ALL MY ROOMS!

I have accepted the fact that Danny has joined us here in Seattle. He is funny and has great knowledge of classic rock, a little bizarre of a person, but he is here now.

Shirley does seem cool and down to earth. Marty seems really off the wall, but Shirley says he makes her laugh. And since her first husband was apparently such a drama queen, I can see why that would be appealing in a second husband.

I sort of agree with the Chris 2 comment....but they never gave him funny lines. Instead of a straight man he was a straight kid. Danny stole the show. Maybe it was his red hair and that he might have been illegitimate? I loved the line when the mafia was after Danny and caught up with him......Your Squeezing my Rubber Duck, Sir.

susan dey was the epitimy of a teen queen goddess in those days,she had the look that most every teen or preteen guy then in those days oogled for, ....

Susan Dey had a good acting career after The Partridge Family when she finally joined L.A. Law and hit her stride. She probably got sick and tired of the Hollywood lifestyle and the way it treated Women actresses. As long as she's happy and content in her current career, more power to her.

I love Susan Day

They pretty much were one character in two bodies. It was always Chris and Tracy though Danny and Chris were close in age.

You don't have to bother her, but I would just say in passing, "loved you on TV." My guess is she would smile and say thanks. I don't think she is known for being a snob.

Suzanne Crough died a couple of years ago. She had a heart attack. She is the first of the Partridge kids to pass away.

@tickle155 Susan Criough passed 2 years or so before David's spirit was taken into Heaven as David accepted Yahshua before David's body died. Not knowing if Susan ever accepted Yahshua or if HE had frevealed HIMSELF to her before her body died, sadly we do not know if her spirit was taken into Heaven to be with The Lord and forever with her creator or if her spirit is in hell. Foe ONLY if accepted Yahshua she is in Heaven.

The youngest two are never mentioned.

I went into intercession prayer for David Monday 20, 2017 stongly, strong prompting by The Ruach Hokades--The Holy Spirit and whil I was praying The Holy Spirit stopped me and went right into tongiues and The Holy Spirit went SO EXTREMELY STRONG IN ME AND SO MUCH FASTER AND LOUDER THAN FOR THE SEVERAL PEOPLE HE HAD ME HEAL IN AUGUAST WHEN I WAS GIVEN THE GIFT TO HEAL. Unfortunately, Shirley was not nice when we met her at a Boscov's store years ago. Didn't allow pictures unless you stood in front of her table, and items TOO overpriced!!!!!

I couldn't hear or take what happened to Danny Bonaduce. So I skipped it. Tooo upseting.

When a child becomes the family's meal ticket and treasure peovider, sometimes the needs of the child become secondary or just fall away. A child acting pit might easily have to be bullied into productivity. Adults resent the depending upon the child. The family becomes a place for power plays and manipulation and the child grows up in this. Will Wheaton says he met child actors who loved the job, but he didn't want to do the job at times but could not just lst the family down. He was born with a tendency for bi polar (used to be called manic depresive) behaviors and his childhood contributed to this being harder to manage and worse in its symptoms. DavisCassudy reports one zYimb let the little kids be in front during a photo shoot. He was told to do it precisely how he was asked. He said something like hey let's discuss it and was told with a bard cold hateful glare, read your comtract which was that we get to decide this and pretty mucheverything. However, he was able to renegotiate because he had signed it as a minor or had not signed it or something like that that legal brains had overlooked.

I always wondered if Chris and Tracy were supposed to have bigger parts. They sort of combined them into one Chrisandtracy person. As a kid I disliked Chris Number 2. He and Danny were both pretty much my age but Danny was cool and basically playing an adult in a child's body. Chris was playing a little kid and somehow that annoyed me.

LOL I was just saying that.

When I think of all the money Tina Louise (Ginger of Gilligans Island) has missed out on for ignoring the obvious I wonder. Some characters should be so lucky to have a life defining role; some don't embrace it. Maybe if I ask her about her modeling days before the Partridge Family? Nay, I will just let her pick out her fruit and leave her alone :)

I think Laurie Partridge was my first wet dream in 1970. Of course she wasn't wearing the dorky Partridge Family outfit.

I will bet they always got used hand me down clothes too.

The red head freckled girl died in 2015 of cardiomyopathy. The young boy, I think they had two different actors in that part, not sure about them.

I know that Susan doesn't regret doing the show, she was just tired of simply being known as David Cassidy's sister- and was worried about being typecast simply as Laurie Partridge. Actually, I would be more embarrassed to be a Brady kid... but that's just me.

Susan Dey must live near me because I have seen her at least 5 times over the years food shopping...so she isn't that anorexic anymore...I have been tempted to talk to her, but she distanced herself from the Partridge family so I leave her be...then she was on that other show and I never even watched that...

Not only that, the first Chris Jeremy Gelbwaks was fired because he and Danny couldn't get along. Danny was immensely popular so they dumped Gelbwaks attributing it to his father being transferred. He may as well have fallen off the face of the Earth. It's like he never existed.
