I've just realized after all these years that TPF wasn't widely distributed in syndication. Other than one of the nationwide cable networks in the early/mid 1990's and then Nickelodeon in the later part of the 90's, I don't remember seeing the reruns. Perhaps because of the music royalties and copyrights? I can honestly say that when I watch an episode now, it's been 50 years since I saw it... almost like "seeing it again for the first time"

God bless them all. Thank you for the great memories.
Quite honestly, this to me is a real blessing to watch. Not only for the presence of Danny and Shirley, but seeing two of the very best people being interviewed, Dave Madden, and my very sweet and dear friend, Suzanne Crough (Condray). When Dave died, my then ex-wife was working at Community Hospice in Jacksonville, Florida. I came up to drop her off some lunch when I saw this man who I thought looked remarkably like Reuben Kincaid...I asked her "is that Dave Madden?" and she quietly acknowledged it was, but due to HIPAA laws I was not going to approach him. So she surprised me one day by bringing me his autograph and a personalized message from him. That was awesome. Now Suzanne I had known since we were kids, growing up in the same neighborhood. That girl was extraordinary; articulate, very intelligent, and so soft-spoken. We stayed friends until she got married to her husband Bill, but when I heard of her passing, I was in total tears and shock for days. That same girl I knew so well was gone. Seeing this is definitely a treat to me. Thank you for the upload!
Shirley Jones was absolutely beautiful. Those eyes were a big success for the show.

It is heartbreaking that Danny was abused by his father. There is one episode where I can actually see a bruise on the side of his face, then in the next shot, his hair is covering it. He's really turned his life around despite the pain he'd had in childhood!

Shirley looks fantastic. She sang more than 1 time. She sang that one black bird song her on screen father sang to her mother. A bit of trivia, Dave Madden and Danny were voice actors for the early 70s version of charlotte's web. Fantastic cartoon movie even today.

Danny did an excellent job at this. No matter what Dannys life was like after patridge family. And he went through a lot. Have always liked him. Think he is a Sweet man no matter what. He was lucky to have shirley and david cassidy in his life. I believe they helped him a lot. And Shirley is a Beautiful Person inside and out. So was David Cassidy. RIP David.

This must have been recorded in the New York area. That commercial for Mount Airy Lodge ran for probably more than a decade. I was thinking about it not long ago, and never thought I'd ever see it again. Brings back a lot of memories, just like this TV show. Thanks for the post.

She has discussed the show in interviews over the years. She did a interview on the Rosie O'Donnell show in 1996 where she called the series " A great one in her life" and it was like her college years being with new people and getting to know them and learning how to act in a series.
Hard to imagine that three cast members of The Partridge Family have now passed away in just a three or four year span.

I would really, really like to know what happened to Wes Stern, the guy who played Lionel Poindexter. He and Bobby Sherman actually had a spin-off show from “The Partridge Family” called “Getting Together.” He had a strong career in the 1970s and then completely disappeared.
