This video is better than Jon’s reveal 👌🏼👌🏼. It deserves to be known and shared I have mixed feeling with the boat as much as I like HP and speed. Someone needs to do a similar beast with a full electric propulsion.

Unfortunately due to the battery weight, electric power is not feasible on planning boats as at now.
Congratulations on a brilliant project and for exceeding the expectations of Jon!

Beautiful craftsmanship!!! Well done!!! I have one question though: Why bother with the hybrid electric drive system? It seems like a pointless gimmick to me that has no practical purpose. It's not something that can be realistically used on water, as it has such a tiny range and a very limited speed. Surely it just adds unnecessary complication, a lot more weight, which will burn more fuel, and cost more to build? Is there any real world practical benefit? Or is it just a fashion statement being able to say "it's a hybrid"?

A lot of people don’t understand the difference in horsepower between a supercar and a fast boat. The supercar engine has 900hp but when it gets to the tyre’s it’s under 800hp. The power you say the boat has is the power the boat produces from the motor to the water.

Yeah nah, there's gearbox and shaft losses and a bunch of other stuff for boats too. It's an absolute weapon regardless!

But the drag coefficient on a super car is virtually nil, compared to the hull drag on a boat.

I used to think the same thing until I seen the KZread video of cigarette super boats and they owners new 46 or 48 foot single hull and insane horsepower and the design he has under the boats rear of the hull helps it reach over 150mph cruising around top speed up around 200mph from memory

@@darrensice1550 exactly. 150-200mph is a helluva lot for a boat, needs huge engines, perfected hull design, perfect balance and load, but most average modern street cars can reach those speeds even with 2-3 pax.

@@andreacoppini yeah but you have to admit that it’s unbelievable that boats don’t have down force like cars need to get over 200mph and yet boats don’t have splitters or rear defusers spoilers they only have the wind crossing over the top of the boat and the prop’s in the water and they don’t take off skyward unless they hit a wave the wrong way. They are a sight to see and the guy’s that drive them at the limit are some brave people it would be scary to hop in one and then get taken to 200mph the first time in one doesn’t matter who you are you would be shitting yourself

Nico Bertels once ordered A engine 2022 and didn't redeem it. Very sad
It's fast and you did great in your achievement to make this happen! I can not say I like the design or the tech used though. Rib, conventional motors and no real innovation. This boat is nothing more than anything already made. You are a young company, be innovative and get busy leading, you got it in you!
