Nice final review Tony of the Tasso upgrade. Have you thought about wearing ear plugs? I do on all my scoots & motorbike, makes for a more comfy journey😊

Yes, I wear them when I'm touring on my big bike,. They are a really good idea.

In my experience the best mod for a 4t scooter is the variator/weights. Exhaust/remap shows diminished gains for a lot of outlay.

Yes and a ReMap. Although I did feel the air intake made a big difference too.

Hey mate, great vid as per usual. Can you talk through the phone/sat nav holder you fitted, keen to fit one and don’t want to fit to mirrors ? Cheers

I have 2 options at the moment, fitted to the mirror stems, though. I have a Tom Tom vio which works paired with the phone and is a great compact system, but I also have the option of just using my phone on its quadlock mount, in which case I use Waze. No problems with vibration, so both work well. My 3rd option is a bar fitted on the flyshield mounting points where I fit a garmin or my cheap ebay motorcycle gps onto.

Hi Tony just quick one if I put the heavier roller weights in would it drop my rpm at Cruzing speeds like 70mph it sits at 7000rpm but like bigger tooth front sprocket ?

Good question and people seem to have different answers. My answer is no, rollers don't change revs at all.. the variator cone shape would. Lighter weights give quicker acceleration but you can lose top speed. Heavier weights can often give a little more top speed but lose acceleration. It's a balance 😆

Reduce the time from Zero to Sixty by 1.5 seconds ! Not sure it's worth all the effort, time & money imo. But still good & a very cool Scooter 😎

Tbh. It's a cheap upgrade, and it's not hard to do, especially now I've found out the best way to do the rollers. Actually... I wouldn't bother with the rollers, so it's really easy then, lol. And it's not just the 0 to 60.. the mid range and throttle response is far better after the ReMap. At least having seen the videos, you have a bit more info to think about it. And maybe I've saved you some time and money 😆 Lastly, thanks for commenting. It's good to get any feedback, cheers

You do need the remap, as in Part 1 of this series of videos. Its all in the price of the Kit. You are right though, without the ECU Remap you wont see the gains. Bear in mind, its not just the 0-60 time, its the throttle response and mid range improvements that make it worthwhile

Hi Tony love the vids did you fit 13g rollers ? If so did they lower rpm a bit when cruising like do when change tooth on a sprocket bike if know what mean Thank 👍
