Do you know, I was just thinking about those yesterday myself, I'd forgotten all about that. Yes, the Meteor tank makes it look a bit more 'big brother', maybe I should have gone with painting that instead (already started on the standard one). It's not too late to do both though.......🤪

Sadly, that's just the speed my brain works at when I'm in thinking mode, which is why I enjoy making the videos, in 'real' life there just doesn't isn't time to drag things out so much 👍 Richard Burton is from Pontrhydyfen, just a few miles down the valley where the Meteor ride video was shot🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I like the hunter tank, especially if went down the army/dispatch look.

That's the word I was looking for, despatch, thank you. It's growing on me now, might have a play with that. The good thing is it can be changed at any time and doesn't have to be set in stone right now 👍

Glyn....think the meteor tank looks best.... especially if you are going to fit the whitewall tyres. Think the hunter tank may look it feel a bit weedy! Depends on what you have in mind for mudguards etc....as usual interesting watch.👍

Hi Glyn Steve here,I think Ive made my mind up about the Enfield model Im going for! Its going to be a 350 Meteor, the one with the matt black exhaust.For the simple reason Ive spent more time polishing bikes than riding them,could you tell me witch model I want (it will not be new) Thanks for your help Steve.

Hey Steve, that sounds great. The model you're looking for is the Fireball and mostly comes in Red and Yellow, though they have a Satin Green too which is more recent. You can always change the tank to a colour you prefer later (the mudguards and side panels are black on both). Hope you find a bike ready for spring (if that's your next season!)

I prefer the original tank at the moment , put probably it's a personal thing as I own a 350 classic but going off the past Glyn and being an observer of the way things finish up I'm sure preferences may change.

I'm really not sure what to think now but at least it's not an urgent decision, the devil in me is prodding towards the Hunter and lower bars this morning though.... all reversible of course 👍

Tank dents - I remember sticking an inner tub inside the tank of an old Yamaha FS1E when I was a kid and inflating it to pop some dents out.

You just want to see a massive explosion video! I had an idea about pulling them out with glue sticks like I've seen videos of, but am sceptical.....

Classic looks way better with the Meteor tank! The Meteor tank in my opinion would make a great tank for retro custom builds once the fuel pump aperture is patched up.

It does look kind of grown up like that. The curves and profiles of these new Enfield tanks are all very nice, I really don't know what to do. Might have to be like Thunderbirds and have a whole set of tanks 😍

I forgot to check that and I've got a set of Meteor bars here. They're wider at the bottom and wouldn't work with the Meteor tank for sure but maybe with the other two, I'll try that out. Thanks for watching, Glyn

Hi Glyn, not been able to comment till home from the highlands 😅. 3 nice tanks. Classic is nicest , with its colour and written badge. Meteor is chunkier looking, but I prefer the written badge as apposed to the chrome badge. Hunter is uglier, but it’s only it’s colour, and decals. You will be changing the colour anyway, so the original tanks, would look totally different.😊 My thoughts, I think your custom build requires a different tank. Your Meteor came up fantastic, but it did suit the bike, when you tried in place. But that would be similar to the Meteor, on initial look. Just thinking here, for a difference. I am leaning towards the Hunter tank, because it’s different and would give a change of look, to the Classic. Don’t know if am making sense with that.😂 Your Meteor was black, so ? If this needs a lighter finish, but, then it might not suit. Your methodical process will win, in the end. I haven’t as yet read the comments. Great job, and already looking forward to the next episode Glyn😊 Gee there was a biker stay at the hotel in Ullapool, my car was frosted all over. He must of been frozen, but the bike was away in the Am, brave man😊 Best wishes. Mark😊😊😊.

Hi Mark, sounds like you've had a good adventure up there, home safe now? Thanks for your considered thoughts as always. You're right, the tanks all have their own personality and the Hunter is certainly the wildcard. At least I can leave that till the last minute if I need to, or even have them all ready, like Thunderbirds, and swap them about. I've got another horror of an idea up my sleeve that's just developing which will throw it up in the air again. It's just getting cold down here so must be brutal up there, you're all made of strong stuff I reckon 👍 cheers, Glyn

@@GlynOC wildcard, good word, I guess. I can never get my thoughts/ ideas into words…..lol. I had to scrape the windows of Miley, and it was facing the late am sun. Freezing fog, and low sun, in areas, took a different route home, with road closures…..lol. The views from the ferry, Ullapool to Stornaway are stunning, it was bitterly cold, but clear skies. There was members of the Scottish widow sons, telling me stories and giving me some of their knowledge, on riding. I had double booked 1st night in Ullapool, so, was able give 2 of them the spare room. Hopefully, go up next month, see the gorgeously lit up, creel Christmas tree. See Calum and Michele play (The Johnny Cash Duo ) or the Sunday jam session in the Arch Inn, you would enjoy that!! Best wishes as normal Mark. Oh have you seen Droneon29 channel from France

@@ankitkhanna4292 aha, ok. One electric multi plug that unclips, and a quick detach fuel fitting that you squeeze and it comes off, can see in the other video I think, maybe the Meteor one in that playlist 👍

Maybe bar riser could solve the problem😊

Prefer the hunter tank, more of a stripped back look, totally different from the classic/meteor, with the meteor tank fitted just looks like a meteor

I think it could fit but you'd need the long seat too, or keep the pillion seat as the actual mudguard on the Hunter is quite short. There is always a way though!
