    I watched this video to figure out how come I’ve never seen feathered pattern on the tv show forged and fire. I think you have sufficiently explained that. I have ZERO interest in knives, but this to me is just art. Great job

    @@chadkennedyknives Just found your channel yesterday, so I definitely have some catching up to do. That inlay work you do is simply on another level imho. I do a little smithing here and there. I'd love to do more but since I don't have a power hammer or press I don't see it happening. Not because I'm lazy or don't have the drive. No, it's because of a disability I have. Honestly, I'm not big on bringing it up. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work!! I'm almost 50 years old. So I'd like to think I know quality work when I see it. Or not and I'm loosing my mind. Although I'm pretty sure that's not the case here. Apologies for rambling.

    I have the same issue with my press and the corners. I usually have to grind the sides down quite a bit to get rid of my welds.. I usually grind the corners down as well. And take it very slow with my press.

    I would really kind of like to know a price list on 12 in Bowie bone handle feathered Damascus, message me back some way so I can get ahold of you and find out your pricing and see pictures of different knives that you might have ready to go LOL if the pricing is feasible that I might be purchasing one or more

    beautiful work Chad i built my press a buddy did the welding on it for me and made a mistake he made the opening exactlly 8 inches insead of leaving more room for the height of your dies etc,etc so now i dont know if i can even do feather wont be able to get a very tall billet and a knive in there 😡😡 what is your hand held cutter made from? thanks Mark

    make a splitter on the outside of your press. it should be plenty strong to split the billet. thanks for watching
