Both the box and the video, very well done. Someone else suggested it and I’ll second it: would be cool to see an update as you’re taking it out and using it. Thanks for the content! Keep ‘em coming.

Fantastic 2 part video mate! I'm inspired to throw my rubbish cheap adventure king drawers out and have a crack at making a set similar to yours.

Very well done! I am in the process of building a drawer and slide system in my 100 series as well. Going down the rabbit hole and enjoyed this build, Thank you!

Great job on this build. For the sleeping panels maybe a little wood wax to help things slide a bit better

Phenomenal video man! Would love to get the plans for this. I have an 80 series so there may be a few different tweaks.

Great Job! The velcro reliefs looked closer to 4/32" deep than 2/16"

I REALLY like your design, it looks clean and well built... I am struggling with the design for my sleeping platform extension in my 2007 Chevy Tahoe. The way you attached the slides and made them stable was ingenous... Question for you if you dont mind, What, if anything, would you do differently in your bed slide design if you built it again?

Thank you! I think the platforms worked out pretty well and wouldn’t change much. One thing I noticed is that it would be nice if they were 3-4 inches shorter so I could still drive comfortably with both extended. Right now I only set up the passenger side if I have to drive anywhere. Here’s the design that inspired my approach: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gpd5y8-jaNXAqZs.html Good luck!

You did a fabulous job. What do the sleeping platforms rest on when they are stored (i.e., what do they slide back and forth on)? The top of the drawer slide? Thanks.

Sorry to pester, but I’m also curious if you used a furring strip or the like on the base closest to the second row seats. Maybe it’s just the padding on my flooring but my floor dips down toward the 2nd row pretty severely. That said, I don’t want to add height in the back that will cause the drawers to angle forward and rub the tailgate. Thx.

I checked out your channel, it seems you are all about just repairing vehicles? I was hoping to see you take this camper out to camp in it to see how it goes, will that ever happen in your videos?
