Part 1 - Building The Recording Studio

As promised, here's the new series about the construction of the CR3 Recording Studio. When I uploaded my first video to KZread I was part way through an architectural degree at university - which until now hadn't been of much use. Dream come true to have the opportunity to build a recording space at CR3. Stay tuned to watch how it turns out.

Sound insulation is the most challenging part of designing a space for sound recording. Usually the wall insulation is insufficient. Double plaster boards plus acoustic sealant is a bear minimum. You will also find that sound will leak through air ducts and even power points on the wall. In the other it does depend on what sort of sound recording you plan to do. Recording of High volume bands is a big task

Thank you - doing my best to keep a constant flow of content. Part two of the build will be uploaded later today and then I'm going to experiment with some live feeds while working on music.

Damn, from bedroom mashup maker, to producing in his own studio. We're actually getting old aren't we? Kinda brings a tear in my eyes. If I'll ever manage to visit it someday, i'll for sure bring my old mk1 launchpad to remind me of the Weapon days! P.S: I saw that Steelseries mousepad ^_^ (is M4SONIC a gamer in his heart? who knows)

I am starting to feel old actually haha. While I was making those mashups in the bedroom I was a uni student on a mk1. Very good times. Well spotted, yeah I'm an average gamer - I think I'm good but I'm actually pretty terrible. I play Minecraft and PUBG. I'm interested to get some Minecraft happening again, I like being creative and hanging out in the block world with friends. Would stream it on here also.

hope someday i could visit CR3 and maybe if it allowed i would take a much pict. so i could mimicked it on my own studio hahahaha

Absolutely! It's a space for all our crew to hang out and make music. I'll gladly show you the plans also.
