I just got the quartz version with a VH31 movement for about £40 all in, I’m beyond stoked! It’s a lovely watch

@@schizoidman9781not 2 or or 3 times as accurate though, as above, I paid £40. I also don’t buy automatics anymore as I have enough. Thanks

Thanks for testing the PT5000. I’m a big fan of ETA 2824/2892 and SW200 clone. Glad to see the 2824 Chinese clone looks promising !

I have a lot of addiesdive watches and have never had one fail on the water resistance and I swim and dive with all of them. I don’t dive deep but never had a problem

I was looking to buy 36mm San Martin explorer, it’s a phenomenal watch but way too expensive. This one has better movement inside and cost half of the price. I’m definitely getting one!

@@spidiq8 I have a question, I’m buying first time watch on Ali express. Should I buy it now or will there be any discounts for Christmas or new year?

I have just received a watch saying that it has a PT5000. In the video I was waiting to see you wind the movement and hear how grittiness and difficulty in winding. The winding feels like it will break a gear by the difficulty so I wind by using the rotor which does not sound to be rotating freely. Do you have this experience or is my example just a poorly put together and lubricated movement?

There is no grittiness and it winds smoothly. I'm currently wearing this exact watch just now and it gets a lot of regular wear.

I have one and it's a fantastic watch. 36mm is the perfect size for you. Sorry to say but that Breitling is WAY too big for you, bud.

That's okay, everyone is entitled to their opinion. It is big but I love it and don't care. 🙂 I have a collection ranging from about 34 to a couple of monsters like the Breitling and love them all for various reasons.

PT5000 i s a crap movement !!! I have 4 watches with the PT5000 movement and all of them have broken; none have lasted more than a year. I can only conclude that it's pure Chinese junk. I have a Pagani Design with the NH35 that has been working perfectly for 7 years.

The environment where the watches are cased and the storage of the movements beforehand are the main contributors to early failure or poor running. Even a cheap nasty DG2813 cleaned and lubricated will run reasonably well for a long time. Most of these factories are buying movements in bulk with the most basic assembly and lubrication and the same applies to NH35's, they simply have more 'leeway' in their assembly than the ETA2824-2 this is based on and that's why they're less accurate but they can fail just as easily. Frankly when you pay between £80 and £150 for a watch you cannot expect careful assembly in a sterile environment. It's the equivalent of 'I have a mate that can do it cheaper'.
