There's no breading so this is a super low-carb recipe! I'll be trying this with my fresh caught bass and bluegill.

Since it's summer & too hot for the oven can I fry these in a pan with some coconut oil? I'm gonna try it anyways, cause this recipe sounds delicious.

Pan-frying will work for this recipe, Lil Mystikal. Just expect some of the coating to fall off when you flip the fillets to cook both sides. Enjoy!

April IrishRose I just made this recipe last Friday again it was so good, but this time I used freshly grated Parmesan & half pizza sprinkled Parmesan mixed in with Italian style bread crumbs. Last time I used Panko with Italian season. With just enough coconut or vegetable oil in the pan that the fish is a little half way submerged in it. Like 1/3 cup in a pan big enough for 3 pieces. I dipped the fish in the mixture *no egg or flour* firmly pressed in the crust until it sticks & coated good. As long as your careful flipping with a wide spatula & you will have super tasty crispy crust fish
