Parkruns are HARD during the "BRITISH SUMMER"

D Mills is back at the Eastbourne Summer Course Parkrun but unfortunately it's not very summery!
Wind and rain are lashing down, but D Mills is hoping to still put in a good show starting at 4:10/KM, speeding up every 1KM by 10seconds to finish the final 1KM in 3:30/KM.
Come along and see how he gets on!

That little trip-kid got sub 20 on his first go. Fair play to him. Well done D Mills - progression runs with perfect splits sound easy, but they never are at the business end!

Always great entertainment. I battle with a parkrun mate and despite running for a club I love my Saturday mornings and these videos are just good motivation

I take that, our summers on the Gold coast, Queensland, Australia are 29 degrees and 80% humidity at parkrun @ 7am.🥵

I have a strong dislike for the summer course. Especially when the grass isn't cut at the start. Lost my car key here (unknown hole in my pocket) and it was forever lost to the long grass. Something quite satisfying about watching someone else struggle through it though 😂 I run with Chris who came in first here. He just flies round. Well done D Mills 😁

I'm hoping in a few months it won't be so bad when things dry up and the grass is cut... Maybe then I'll grow some fondness for it 😂😂
