Parkinson's Disease:- Red Light Therapy - Photobiomodulation

Red Light Therapy (Photobiomodulation) and the science behind its possibilities is a growing topic within the Parkinson's community. Watch this video, the first of two that No Silver Bullet recorded to share with PwP.
We were delighted to host Dr.Catherine Hamilton, a retired medical practitioner and author of the Red Lights on the Brain blog. Together with Ron Brown, an electronics engineer, Catherine established Well Red Pty a company that produces and distributes the "Well Red Coronet".
The topic of Catherine's talk was, "Red and near-infrared lights - can they help degenerative neurological diseases?"
The potential health value of red light was recognised over a century ago. It took another 90 years for medical researchers to rediscover the potential, and restart research into the health effects of red and near-infrared light on conditions such as Parkinson’s disease.
More information can be found on Catherine's website www.wellred.com.au/
IF YOU CAN, PLEASE DONATE TO NO SILVER BULLET 4PD.
We are self-funded, so pay for our costs ourselves, which include licenses for our secure Webinar platform, our Podcast hosting platform and soon-to-be-launched paid advertising on Facebook and Instagram so that we can target and share these sessions with more PwP worldwide, in the hope that some of our speaker's content, may improve the symptoms of another PwP

I've been using red - 660 nm and near infrared - 850 nm for over 10 years. It does everything they say it does. There are many peer reviewed studies. Near infrared doesn't create heat in the body, far infrared does and must be used with caution. I'm using panels I've mounted to microphone stands so we can focus them anywhere on the body. I watched them resolve diabetic ulcers of 12 years, in 6 weeks, all new pink skin. Blue light is very effective for MRSA and Staph, even melanoma. Green light increases cellular growth X4, good for a bad burn where red light is too hot of a frequency and is uncomfortable. The blue light can keep a burn from getting infected. So much to say. I use them for everything, even reversed trigger finger. They also work on the eyes and nerves.

My speech was slurred, balance was off so that i staggered to the left if i wasnt paying close attention to my gait, Now my speech and word recall has returned. I can walk naturally in a straight line, my memory continues to improve, my emotions are easier to regulate after focusing it on different areas of my head. I also focus it on ky abdomen daily for about 15-20 mins and my gut irritation is nearly cleared after 6 months. I even lent my light to a neighbour for a week after a bad bone break in his hand had left it stiff. He swears it gave him back the flexibility and strength.

@@crvc56 i just purchased a led combination red/near unfared grow light. I hadnt seen these videos at that time. But i had studied photonic engineering in college back in 2002 and figured it was worth a try. Im glad i did it really does relieve inflammation. I cant always get out in the sun everyday so i just keep my lamp set up handy and use it when i sit to take a break or watch tv. The bulb i ordered from amazon was $35. I actually have it shining on the back of my head/upper neck, right now as im typing this because its a damp rainy day and my neck was stiff when i woke up. Secret is, read the ad closely and look for leds in both of the right wave length or as close to the nm that this dr recommends. I cant afford the premade halo but am considering making one now.

When you read Dapne's book. She talks about it not showing up as a deficit in blood work. That is why Doctors saying there is no deficit, therefore B1 will not improve the condition. This of course is not the case. It's not about a deficit, its about getting levels Prime. But as she says, you need to get The B complex and Magnesium sorted out for a couple of weeks before starting the B1. @@dystoniaify Do it your own hydrogen generator, it is a simple electrolysis system and you can make it "stronger" than the cheaper commercial ones. Some generators may have something else, but all of them work through electrolysis. You can also inhale the gas from the bottle you bought, since the water only retains a small fraction of the H2 generated. You can also do it by adding malic acid to pure magnesium (usually from a bar), the reaciton will generate Hydrogen (you can easily find a tutorial here on YT)

I'm in poverty but I'm 41 and bedridden with all symptoms of Parkinson and dystonia except for tremors. I am suicidal but too tired to even plan it. I have no money but I just put this on credit. I'm crying. My rigidity and dystonia is hell but the lack of motivation, anhedonia, and exhaustion is worse. I had a hypoxic-iscemic brain injury which killed parts of the basal ganglia 10 years ago. I'm completely alone and in poverty, and especially since the new normal nightmare, I have lost hope until just now. I'm in the US .I paid extra for fast shipping. Hopefully it arrives fast..I also have had ankle reconstruction surgery due to the dystonia damage, and several other damages to my body. The poverty and being stuck in a dark, low income apartment is making things worse, especially since I'm now banned from society because I have natural immunity. I am also legally blind from post lasik ectasia.

I want to offer advice. I’ve had a very severe breakdown 12 years ago, and two more besides that. Recovery is possible beyond what you can imagine, even if you feel like a victim, are angry or resentful. Start with mood support and small goals, tiny goals if needed. They are all perfect. 1. Work towards getting 30 mins sunlight every day at 12-1pm. It can be outside or ask for a SAD lamp. Get one free, set up go fund me, do whatever it takes, you WILL find a way. Stand at an open window. 2. Get 1000 to 2000mg EPA per day. 3. Look up lifestyle changes for depression on KZread. 4. Figure out what would be the highest goal you might achieve. Jordan Peterson’s future authoring programme is good, or write down various areas of life, and write them the goals for each. Know people care about you. You are connected to them, even when you can’t feel it. Keep it simple.
