Parking Brake Bypass Installation (Pioneer AVH-P6300BT)

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

How to install Microbypass's parking brake bypass... Very easy 3 wire installation, it does work flawlessly as you can see in this video. Love it and I definitely recommend to anyone not wanting to deal with the parking brake every time you want to watch video, use bluetooth or go through pics.

DIYBypass, com sells the bypass for this radio and it works great! As you may already know, these radio's take multiple pulses to work... this piece is awesome!!! It also works with the navigation add-on

LOL I know this is 6 years old but nobody mentions the movie is "Take me home tonight" (2011) Just saw this youtube vid today. Oh and BTY, The new Pioneers need a double pulse ground to activate video so just grounding the green wire wont do it. And yes, if you have an amp or auto antenna, the blue wire will have 3 connections ( radio wire, bypass wire, and car harness wire) as will the black to ground, bypass wire, and radio wire. The green just connects radio wire to bypass wire.

@ dayton no the newer pioneers have a 2 stage detection which requires an intermittent signal. this bypass (part with 3 wries) creates a simulation of setting the parking break, releasing it and setting it again so the radio will think the actual parking break was applied

Does the blue & white from the new stereo harness still need to be connected to the original harness as well as the bypass? It didn't look like it was in the video.

Great video. I just had one question. Im installing a Pioneer AVH-x2500BT next week. My question is the wires that the bypass module that have to be attached. Are they attached to the cars wiring harness or the harness that is coming from the head unit? Im assuming im attaching the bypass to the cars actual harness but i want to make sure. thanks

Hi I was curious to know how you connect the ground cable to the bypass if it also has to be connected to the harness? Do you splice the ground cable and put an extension on it and then connect both of them?

Hi I was wondering what you ended up doing with the terminal end that came off of the ground wire from the radio harness? Did you end up just snipping it off or is it actually connected somewhere?

Hey great video... My only question is, the ground wire from the back of the head unit (black wire) is connected to the micro bypass (black wire)... But it looks like the black wire is connected to something else (running down along the floor) ? Do you have to connect the ground wire somewhere else? Or the only connection is from the micro bypass to the head unit?

Joe, I just installed an 3500 in my truck and my iPhone would not play video on the screen like yours. Google search sent me straight to your video (good video by the way). Question though, If I install this bypass could I use my Waze app, Garmin app, iMaps app, etc... on my iPhone for navigation to display on the screen of my radio?

I plan to purchase the agh-x8500bhs. What is 5 pin relay? I am looking at a bypass on amazon right now and i see 3 wires.. I want to make sure I get the right thing. Also, I realized the cd-ih202 scam and plan to just get a hdmi cable, usb-lighting cable, and lighting av adapter. I am hoping this is everything I need for the iphone 5 video to work.

  • @Riznoy
    @Riznoy11 жыл бұрын

Yes you're right, found out today when I got my pioneer agh-x8500bhs installed, I had a bypass made with a regular 5 pin relay, took 10 min and about $3. Again that info I posted before was the case almost 10 years ago when I got my first in dash by pioneer. I'll tell you what is a scam by the way, if you're gonna get the 8500bhs and have an iphone 5, dont waste the $60 on the "cd-ih202" cable from pioneer, its a fuckin hdmi cable, boy was I pissed when I found that out.

I'm not being sarcastic...I really want to know. I will be installing a new Jvc-kw-v20bt soon in my trailblazer. Also, how does the bypass work? (electrically speaking) Thanks

CD paul Kinda hard to believe that. Since the amp remote is a +12v wire, and the black is ground, simply soldering them all together would either blow a fuse, or damage the stereo.

TRUSTY PEREZ You still use the blue/white wire to trigger the amp. You just have to have the amp and the bypass connected to it.

No the blue/white 1 is just to trigger the amp that is wired seperately and the parking brake wire is gana go to a positive line and the blk to a ground

I think these "bypasses" are a scam, I believe if u just ground the green parking brake wire, it would accomplish the same thing. At least that was the case when I installed my avh4400 back in 2004.
