Paris Transilien all the lines Compilation
The Paris Transilien is a suburban rail network that operates in Île-de-France. It consists of 8 lines which connect Paris to it's surrounding suburbs inside the province of Île-de-France. Unlike the RER, this system does not operate through the city of Paris rather it serves as an express service to the farther suburbs. The trains used are similar to those of the RER and in some cases they are shared between the 2. The system is operated by SNCF rather than RATP and is owned by IDFM. I really enjoyed filming this system, it isn't used by tourists often but if you ever need to go to a far suburb in Île-de-France I definetly reccomend it. I hope you enjoy the video :)

The majority of lines use the Z50000 (H,J,K,L) built by Bombardier. The N, and J (partially for the latter) use the VB2N towed by Alstom BB27300 5:50 . They are being replaced by Regio2N from Bombardier. The P will go to Z50000 series at 100% (for now it's half Z50000 series, half Z20500 series) The U will remain with the Z20500 of the RER D in the long term.Actually they use Z8800 Series The R is 100% Regio2N in 2023....the last Z5600 series will disappear 11 years ago between the first Z50000 delivered (in 2011) and the 352nd which is currently the last (there are 8 left to deliver)

The Transilien Line V came out last December. And on December 2024, a potential Line S. Will you add those in your compilation in the future?

When I return to Paris I will make an updated version with the new lines. I also hope to update the trams and metro videos as they also are getting new lines.

it's not the city of Paris but its region you're really not good at English / America in geography
Personally I like the Bombardier Spacium trains - short carriages with double doors. As for the new generation double deck trains: how smoothly are the passenger flows in practice with the access doors moved to the short in-between single deck carriages and the double deck cars having no direct doors anymore?

The new generation trains have relatively smooth flow in my opinion although I didn't really ride them during rush hour so I didn't get to see too many people flooding on them. However with the interior being open gangway I found it really easy to get anywhere on the train.

It is the Transilien line N at St Cyr ( The RER C does not use Regio 2N trains )

That is the Transilien line R at Melun station ( I took it from Gare de Lyon and Melun was the first stop )

That is the Transilien line U at Puteaux station, no RER services run through Puteaux.
