There's always the old rule, "if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it". People who worry about prices (almost everyone) can't afford this stuff. Unless they save up for it, of course.

the subtitle says that the menu for the lady doesn't have the price on. obviously the host must know the price and also it's prix fixe, the price is already told when you book the restaurant.

I love the enthusiasm in the diner's experience. Great presentation of all the menu items brought to the table.

The Gratinated Onion dish.... There's no words to describe. Definitely in my best 3 dishes of a lifetime.

Watching this video and knowing in the back of my mind that someday, the revolution is coming.

Put a scoop of your noodles in a huge fancy bowl and then use a silver spoon to get some ketchup, pour it onto your noodle. It suddenly becomes a Michellin 3 star.

Nice video! I would love to eat there one day. That's a once in a lifetime type of meal.

Looks delicious, gained yourself a sub. Personally haven't been to Paris, but wifey and I went to Rome last year and La Pergola was similarly priced. For 3 stars we'll target about £900 - £1K for all in, though this includes decent wine and service. Some people would rather have a weeks all-inclusive holiday to the Med, frankly I'd rather have a 4 hour feast. But I'd definitely go back, and indeed would love to try here. It's clearly not cheap, but it looks beautiful and I could tell you were enjoying things. It's also not always understood the amount of work / ingredients in these dishes, the service, and also the amount of freebies you typically get across a tasting course. Thanks for sharing.

The food may be fabulous, but the prices have soared, the last ten to fifteen years, and just the last few years even more. Unless most of the cost of the meal is for expensive libations, then there is usually no reason why a meal for one or two people should cost so much.

@@danarud3471 of course, but that's an experience, and she's eating in the most famous hotel in france so taht's also why the price is high. In fracne you can eat high cuisine food in 3 stars restaurant for a very good price. Some of the best have also menu at ranging from 70 to 500 €
