Paris Christmas Markets & The Earful Tower Holiday Walk & Party

Paris is a magical place during the holidays. There can be upwards of 20 Christmas markets scattered through out the city. Have a glass of champagne at Montmartre’s Marché de Noël des Abbesses. If you fancy a non-alcoholic drink, grab the undeniably delicious hot chocolate at Angelina, opened since 1901. Before we attended ‪@TheEarfulTower‬'s annual Christmas party, we ran into several “ghosts” of Paris past on this special holiday walk. You can count on Oliver Gee to incorporate some history of Paris in a fun, entertaining way. We ended the night with a sing along of Edith Piaf’s famous “Non, je ne regrette rien.” We may have had a few more glasses of champagne at one of our favorite Parisian institutions, Avant comptoir de la mer. Happy Holidays and see you in the next year.

Photography and Videography are my hobbies, so I know that this video required countless hours of filming and editing. You succeeded in producing a video that I have watched over and over again, on this site, and on Oliver Gee’s Earful Tower Patreon site. It is while reading his latest post today that I discovered you and your Instagram account and KZread channel. You have inspired me to continue with my photography and videography, despite the hundreds of hours required to produce an excellent video like this one. You went to many places, filming and photographing endlessly to be able to have good material to edit to make the final product. I wish I could hire you as a teacher, but you are far away in those dream holidays. Wow! Congratulations to you and your wife for living your dream. I’m sure it wasn’t easy. Bonne Année 2024! Did you film the sound & light and fireworks at the Arc de Triomphe? The Ville de Paris outdid itself! Can’t wait to see your video of La Saint Sylvestre. Courage! Merci!

Hi Laura. Your words are so kind. Yes indeed it took many hours of editing as we can be perfectionist at times. We really think it is important to engage in art. We live in a world that places less value on it and it is an irreplaceable way of express yourself. We hope you do return to photography and videography. To be honest, we are still learning each day and with each video. For this New Year's, we are actually in Croatia but we did see some fantastic pictures of the fireworks at the Arc de Triomphe. We were a little lame this year and kept it low key, we watched the fireworks from our balcony and fell asleep thereafter. Thank you so much for watching and supporting us. It truly means a lot!

I didn't know a video could be so pretentious and boring at the same time. Congrats!
