Bro, nice! I just got into videography with a GH5 and this is making me want to upgrade or maybe consider the 6k as a future A cam? May I ask how you make your titles? Are these premade templates like from tropic colour or do you make them from scratch? They're so nice.
@alexcormier97
2 жыл бұрын
Hey Zander, Thanks a lot! Both the GH5 and the bmpcc6k are excellent cameras! If your focus is image quality, I'd consider it for the A cam.. Just know that the bmpcc6k, like pretty much any cinema camera is better when rigged with external power.. the battery life on it is Brutal! These titles are actually from Tropic Colour!👍

@alexcormier97
Жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot Benja! I really appreciate it! I invite you to have a look at my color grading tutorials.. In the OFX included in Davinci Resolve, there's a tool called Glow.. Once it's applied to my node, I change the blending mode to Softlight, and play with the shine threshold and spread to get the right amount of glow in the highlights!
Alex, I gotta ask, what are your tips for stable, handheld footage.
@alexcormier97
11 ай бұрын
many things play a factor in getting smooth handheld footage.. Make sure you do the "ninja walk" if you need to move the camera forward! use 3 points of contact of the camera (for example: camera strap, top handle, and lens) If you don't need to move a lot, Keep the camera close to your body, and just use your hips to move the camera where you want.. You'll feel weird the first time you do it, but you'll get used to it!😂 When I need smooth handheld footage, I often shoot slow motion! I also rely heavily on stabilization in post-production! I really love the perspective stabilization in DaVinci resolve! Hope this helps!😁
