The Eiffel Tower was NOT a gift from the Americans. Gustave Eiffel was a French renowned engineer who also gifted the Statue of Liberty to the US. Not the other way around. So check your facts.

And we Americans appreciate the Statue of Liberty. And we appreciate Lafayette's assistance. Does France appreciate our assistance in the world wars? Does France appreciate America repairing its railways? When the Franc (not sure of the spelling) was in danger of collapsing it was the Americans who propped it up. Evidently Paris didn't appreciate that as the Americans were swindled and insulted on the streets of Paris in 1956. Listen to the 1974 recording of the Americans by Canadian Gordon Sinclair. I also understand the Eiffel Tower was disliked by the locals when it was first built.

Fantastic informative vlog of Paris guys 👍🏻 I last visited Paris over 30 years ago on a school trip. Saw all the famous landmarks, but my one regret was not going up the Eiffel Tower! Need to re-visit as I see from your video there’s many new things to do! Have you visited Monaco? Beautiful resort, quite expensive but worth visiting. Happy travelling ❤️

Wow, wow wow this is a totally informative video of Paris. You did tick off a lot of the major landmarks. Cory: The video editing is top notch and the way you film different angles and panning views of Charlotte walking are cool. Charlotte of course you always speak well and always make things sound interesting. Would love to make it to Paris one day. One obvious thing i noticed is so many tourists .................very busy. Keep up the great work guys, Paris looks full of history and monuments.

Lisa 😁🥰 it was quite a lot to pack in in only 48 hours but I think we did alright 😉 thank you for the compliments, we do really work hard to keep it both informative and engaging with different camera angles, wireless microphones and helpful information 😎 Paris is very busy that’s for sure. Especially over the summer months. But interestingly the locals say that a lot of places tend to close down and have their own holidays at this time too. We are actually back in Paris right now for a quick stop before heading to the UK for a week. Then back to explore Spain. It’s so good to be able to get around on the trains and have such diverse cultures at your fingertips!

@@BudgetMeandCo I guess it depends on if you want to have your trip all planned out before you go or if you want to be more flexible? You may find some waiting lines to get in a few of the more popular attractions in July 🤔

Hi Bill, thanks for watching! We had no issues with pickpockets. It’s something that we were aware of before visiting too but never had anything untoward occur for us. Even with all of our camera gear on show!
