Great vid but there is lots more to do .A walk around at Takapuna & the North shore beaches , a drive out to the Bays around the harbour Mission Bay fountain and St Heliers Bay cafes ,Queen Street CIVIC (heritage)Theatre, Aotea centre, drive/walk to Auckland Memorial Museum and The Domain Park ,Cornwall Park, Parnell shops/farmers market , Western Bay Springs, MOTAT, and drive to West coast Murawai/Gannet colony and Piha black sand beaches to name but a few.
I’m in Wellington and I have done all of those things
Heyyy listen please stay forever in Newzealand ❤❤❤❤
I love dunedin olive there 😅
What’s that??
Where is it though?
In the Lake District 😉
My wife and I are going this september, what camera equipment did you use/do you recommend to take pictures and video of the night sky? They turned out great!
Awesome, great time of year to go. I used a LUMIX GH5 on a tripod to capture the stars. I also used our DJI Pocket 3 to create one of the Timelapse’s but it’s a bit more grainy than the GH5’s long exposures. I would only recommend taking your photography gear if you were interested in night photography or you just wanted to give it a go! ☺️
I would want to visit Hobbiton like I would want a hole in the head.
Mate, that long hair looks terrible.
Oamaru really is a hidden gem. Thanks for sharing your little getaway with us!
No worries! Thanks for watching!
You hit the nail on the head and it is getting worse by the hour.
Thanks, glad we’re not the only ones!
beautiful kaikoura and you both...stay blessed ❣
❤️🙏🏼❤️ thanks Jawad 😊

Luxembourg is another excellent recommendation; strikingly picturesque with the perfect blend of old and new built around stunning hills and viaducts. Free public transport is a nice bonus, so getting around the city and to other smaller towns in the country (such as Ettelbruck and Vianden) is much easier, although you'll still need to use your pass to cross borders on the train. Yes, it's expensive, but you can easily stay overnight in Metz (eastern France has good hotel prices generally) across the border, which is a quieter prettier version of Paris. TER trains are very frequent between the cities and take less than an hour, no reservations.
Awesome recommendation! We haven’t actually spent any time in Luxembourg but it’s on the list! Thanks for sharing your knowledge ☺️🙏🏼❤️
@@cjexplores you can either get the Belgian IC trains from Brussels or Leige, or if you're going from Germany, there's the Regional Express service (using CFL double deckers) from Koblenz (a city between Köln and Frankfurt). Neither use reservations and all three services are hourly (slow but scenic), so these are excellent ways to get into the country. Of course the frequent (like, 3 trains per hour) TER from Metz (which I actually prefer over Paris) is the reservation-free way to get in from France. If you prefer something fast, the TGV from Paris has the same reservation fee as domestic TGVs so that's a worthwhile option too.
@@AymanTravelTransport awesome!! You’re the train expert!
Can’t quite tell from the vid, but did you get your springs uprated to take the extra weight? If not, I strongly suggest you do - it’ll be way safer to drive, and will handle better. Trust me, I use to work on car suspension.
Hi Martyn 👋🏼 thanks for your comment. We did not get different springs installed. But tbh our rooftop system was super lightweight - being inflatable, and I’d be surprised if the rest of our build weighed more than that of 2 grown adults in the backseat… we didn’t have any noticeable issues with handling, but then again if we upgraded the springs we might have noticed something!
Interesting, but since I’m from Wales I found this kind of boring - there’s a lot more scenic and challenging routes. The narrative is also hard to understand at times.
Hi Elizabeth, thanks for sharing your thoughts! We appreciate the input. Maybe we will rework this one… 😊
I am a kiwi and i have been to Queenstown and i have done all of those stuff
there's so much more
at what time was your tour? it is usually really crowded 60 tours a day even in off-months like April and May
Yes it’s a surprisingly very organised place, Hobbiton. We went on an 11 o clock tour on a weekday and had about 20 other people with us 😉
