Dragged into the street and shot in the head is the only sensible punishment for someone who lives by the motto of "idgaf im a baddie" which is too many people nowadays.

And most of the time it's harmless. Monsters do exist in our society. But parents _themselves_ say stuff like this, every day, throughout the world. It's not always meant concretely, and _most_ of the time it's just a frustrated parent venting. I said most of this in a comment above as well. I do think the women in this video probably need to be thoroughly investigated. They were saying things a little excessively. But they're also responsible for something like 20 kids at the same time. It may have been just harmless normal stuff. And it may not have been. The things they were saying weren't really that shocking, I've heard far worse from my own parents. Intent, is what needs to be looked into.

She has a slight limp now from the ordeal. Her leg drags a bit because way it broke amd slight brain damage from being slammed into the wall. She was thrown into the wall by her feet then dropped to floor. Broke her skull, bones in her body. Her left side has some issues but hard to notice today. My daughter’s behavior change is what caught my attention also when I placed my child in day care many years ago. I immediately removed her and made arrangements with family to care for her, when that was no longer an option after our 2nd daughter was born, my husband and I agreed that I would quit my job and become a stay at home mom. It was financially burdensome, but we followed a tight budget and made it work. This was back when crimes against children were not as wide spread, today, I would not recommend anyone leave their child with anyone they absolutely could not fully trust. I had 2 girls from our church approach me and ask me if I would watch their babies, I was happy to do so for free just to know that these children were safe, and properly cared for. I now keep my grandchildren. A lot of people do not have these options, but we have to find ways of making sure the children today are safe.

I work at a daycare. We are all professionals with certifications, 1st aids, we have camera and inspections … It’s your due diligence as a parent to do your research about the place where you live your child and make sure you get an incident report for any minor mark on your kid. You can also read the inspections online. Many people just want the cheapest place and don’t even care to know the teacher’s name or what their kid did during the day. If the staff is happy, there isn’t a huge turnover and the kids are happy and the place is licensed and safe, there is little chance anything like that happens. I find it insulting as an ECE professional to assume that what happens in the video is common. I have witness one thing one day, and not remotely as bad, the boss saw it on camera and the girl was fired on the spot. I have reported several abuse happening in the house on the other end. So not all kids are safe at home. Where I agree is that , if the parents are good people, a child will get more personal attention at home. But the vast majority of ECE workers are dedicated and caring. Just don’t send your child to a cheap place with lots of staff turnover because it means the staff is paid minimum wage and the director won’t care as much about qualifications.

Good at making kids believe they are bad and deserve it. Good at playing the victim. 2) Convenience. That daycare is right on the way to work. It's a hassle finding a new facility. He was maybe 4 and had never been to daycare or preschool. He only went one week. When I took him out they didn’t even care. I didn’t realize what was going on until he started playing “school” and pounding his fists and yelling at a certain kid. (Pretend). I had even taken him to the pediatrician that Sunday. His legs hurt. He could only crawl. He also got an imaginary friend right after that. I will never know the entire truth of what happened because he was too young to express it clearly. He just began demanding I “unsign” him from preschool.

In kindergarten, all of the adults hated me. Apparently, I was a very naughty kid and they even told my parents that I had no future and that I should be sent to a school for children in needs. I was just having trouble controlling my emotions + some repressed trauma due to bad babysitters we discovered only a few years later. But they didn’t care about that, they never cared about the kids mental health. I stopped counting how many times they put me in the cold of winter, outside, without any coat on me and only a t-shirt while everyone was inside. How many times they screamed at me, punished me by shaming me or putting me in the dark or one time when they forgot me behind a trip. And they still told my parents that I was the problem and that I would never find my place in society. I am now a second year university student, planning to become an investigative journalist (and writing books on free time), with lot of good friends, my own apartment, my own cat, already made money by working and I got my driving license recently. Another joke, after kindergarten where people thought that I was dumb and insufferable, I went to elementary school. And the teachers in elementary school all said my parents that they loved me, that I was great kid, great student and with a lot of imagination and personality.

Major kudos to the mother for trusting her gut and taking action! It's despicable that anyone could treat someone like this, no less a child. They're the most vulnerable in our society, and for someone in the childcare field to abuse them like this? Utterly shameful.

Not everyone who cares for kids loves kids. I didn’t leave my son with daycare workers until he was 2 and could speak clear and complete sentences. Each day I made sure to ask how his day was in front of the teachers. We’d talk and he’d tell me everything. They needed to know that if they ever mistreated my child - I’d quickly find out and handle it. I can’t promise I’d be saints like these parents. Kudos to them for taking the high road.

Yeah, my moon did the same thing and waited until I was 3. I remember my days at day care as being fun and joy filled but now I understand why my mother used to ask me daily to describe my day in detail (in a casual, fun way) and now I understand it wasn't just out of curiosity and had a deeper meaning behind it.

YES MOMMY for the WIN!!! I work in daycare setting and I ALWAYS tell my babies if something makes you sad/hurt/scared/mad tell, tell me tell mommy tell EVERYONE who's listening, even if miss sarah is the reason you (god forbid cuz I would cry like a baby if I thought I EVER made ANY of them feel like that!!) but even if miss sarah is the one you tell on me to mommy/daddy. I want them to know their feelings are valid and VERY important. They need to know it's ok to say, "Hey, I dont like this!"

I've been there. Went slap off in a daycare about my son. I was crying I was so mad. He wasn't abused but the one worker was used to ghetto daycare & this one was different. She was fired. Talking to kids any kind of way, not watching them properly & they were always crying in her care when I would pick my son up. I couldn't hold it any longer.

Audio recording is a strange area of law. In any two party state, it wouldn't be legal to do that. Even if you had signed waivers from every parent it would still be illegal the moment a visitor or guest stopped by and was not informed of the audio recording. Not only that, but their consent needs to be obtained. Simply telling them is not sufficient.
