And how do we explain Azriel's parents admittedly signing a so-called agreement contract with a person (woman) to supposedly look after their daughter, but in the same breath say they never met the lady from the label who they were signing the contract with. Would you sign a daycare contract online and then just let the bus come pick up your child without scouting out the place? It don't work like that in real life. To enroll your child in anything you damn near have to physically show up. It's not like they were doing a home loan refi over the phone with a banker. Come on, this is your child and you attempted to leverage her like an asset and the situation turned into a liability. Accept full responsibility. In addition, the young woman's parents just admitted to unsuccessfully pitching R.Kelly different business ideas, also confirmed by their daughter in her interview. They are opportunistic like the majority of these people involved in all of these all of a sudden new claims and narratives. This story is complete BS from top to bottom and screams extortion. No matter how they try to wordsmith their reasoning, their daughter was a minor and they GAVE her to RKelly. These parents admitted to this fact. Why isnt law enforcement CHARGING THE CLEARYS WITH CHILD ENDANGERMENT????????? The girl was a minor. Mom even said, well, she will be 18 in 3 mos so what difference does it make if we let her go to him, his label, the record company, Valerie, John, Jane, whomever. They even signed a PERMISSION SLIP giving her permission to be with him. If she is a victim, she is FIRST a victim of her parents' giving her away. They take full responsibility and admit their actions. CHARGE THEM. They do not get a pass bc they have regret. I'm sure Kelly has regret, too. Does he get a pass, too, bc he has regret? In her interview she said she never wanted to sing & her parents were forcing her. That lil girl was clearly lying. She definitely wanted to sing and when she tried to commit suicide at a young age over a boy, she told the therapist/doctors that singing calmed her down and made her peaceful.

@The Deerfield Diaries.....in my field of Education/Administration, I've seen parents whose children tried to end their own lives, take serious actions and seek Limited Conservatorship over their children and immediately file once the child turns 18. . . . .I guess the Clary Family didn't know to do this. . . . . .#badparenting is worse then #ignorantparenting.

R Kelly KNOWS he did wrong in the past and luckily got away with it. The thing is, one day soon, he will surely face his demons for those indiscretions. As for now, this should be case closed.

I have a 23 year old daughter. If she was in a relationship with a known woman abuser NEVER MIND a 51 year old I would be besides myself! My heart goes out to these parents, I don’t know what they are going through but I feel so very sorry for their pain

My ten-year-old daughter took my phone with her to school with no permission so I spend all day with no phone it was very stressful and praying for a smooth day and no calls from schools. Mamma of five. Anyway so I went to go and pick her up from school and ask her she literally looked at me straight in my eyes and lied about it I was more sad than angry, but after her action I don't believe anyone in this world anymore

THESE PARENTS SOLD THEIR DAUGHTER, HOW DO THEY LET A TEENAGER, LEGALLY UNDERAGE STAY WITH A MAN AND NOT CALL THE POLICE?

I’m not saying they meant to but they definitely sold their daughter out. The fact that they allowed their daughter to live with someone they’ve never met is inexcusable. Not judging, just saying.

Meanwhile businessmen and catholic priests are goin with small children that arent remotely 17 years in age.

One lapse in judgement can lead to a lifetime of pain and worry.

Salma Y. He met them along with the parents as minors. But there is zero proof that he engaged in sex while they were minors. So no point in talking about these adult women over and over again. Like any parent that has an adult child that is engaged in self destructive behavior, you have to wait until they come to their senses and ask for help.

Right I'm confused too, lock him up for engaging in sexual activities with minors but the drama surrounding the adult consenting aged women who are choosing to live in his house and be his concubines like he is the black Hugh Heffner is not needed. Even while watching the docu-series it seems like the women could leave whenever they wanted to, no one is being held hostage, so I don't understand the drama surrounding them. I agree, sometimes teenagers can be so much hard work and you don't want to be the parent that stood in their way of teaching their dream. Any parent who has a talented child will do what they can to protect their child but when dealing with someone who promises to give their child that chance, you feel this might be their only chance to ever make it. R Kelly knew this and preyed on them and their daughter, he would sneak her away and cut off their connection but their parents never gave up. The law is the problem here too! If someone says a child is in danger, there should be no law to stop a police officer from entering a property!! It could be a life or death situation! Sometimes it helps to exaggerate a situation for the police to take action! To the point where maybe you say you saw your daughter screaming for help and heard a gun shot? Bet the police would have gone in their like lightening!! The legal system needs to try much harder to protect vulnerable people, especially if someone is concerned for their safety! A well being check up should mean exactly that! A solicitor/officer etc should enter the property no matter what with at least one of the concerned people and have a meeting with that individual in a safe place.
