You know, its funny, we fight the rich people's battles by defending them. They provide jobs with their money, but the money is made from the people working under them. Do you really think a rich guy works 70 times as harder as his least payed employee? Yeah Socialism, communism suck and aren't the answers. But a new system to take out unnecessary bailouts and lobbying is needed.

Fantastic interpretation of Parasite, I love that you delve into the underlying messages of this story but this story is a very true scenario of the future for the poor! I think it won't be long before the poor rise up and there is civil war because of the enormous difference between the rich & poor!! I think our modern culture is doomed unless wealth inequality is addressed and we control our population and consummation of resources!! Our species is doomed because of greed & selfishness towards others and our planet as a whole!!

And people say greed is a virtue. From what I see both in real life and the movie, this is a complete lie. There is no virtue in a unhealthy desire for wealth and material. A sin it remains and for good reason. Live frugally and live humbly, do not pursue endless goals as the greedy have and will do.

  • @Jirodyne

It also depends on how you use it. Without Greed, you might not have the motivation to work harder, do better, and improve. Sure, the goal would be to get more money in the end, but it's still improving yourself and your work. It's when it becomes a Vice, when you're doing harm, degrating yourself and others, that it becomes a problem. Like everything in existance, too much Greed is a bad thing, but having a bit can be very helpful. It's the same with Anger. Lots of uncontrolled anger leads to lashing out and being enraged, which is very bad. But you could also channel that anger into Competitiveness to self improvement, wishing to improve yourself or your product to 'stick it' to whoever is made you mad. Such as wanting to rub it into you're insulting boss's face that you can do your job better than he can. It's all about moderation, and how you use it.

Stupid sentiment. People who make millions upon billions of dollars a year create excess value the world sees fit to take part in. A billionaire can't just bank roll his entire net worth in one go and say fuck it I'm out. That's not how any of this works. Imagine the type of shit person who judges someone else off of a figurative number in someone else's bank account.

jirodyne the seven sins of man are the excess, there is no moderation with greed, lust or wrath. There is no middle ground, you either live absent of them or consumed by them, satisfied lust, tamed wrath and content greed are oxymorons. Contradictions. They cannot exist in moderation with their opposites.

@@johnmarquez7413 LOL yeah I'm a kid alright. In this life you're either a loser or a winner. Sounds to me like you're on the losing side hating other people cause they figured out how to play the game of life better than you. Equality of outcome is bullshit and it's a cancer with people like you. To think a billionaire would/could liquidate everything they own is not only naive, it's flat out ignorant. If their money is inherited, like most people seem think is the usual occurrence, there money WILL be tied up in trusts, companies, land, and other assets that can't be liquidated all at once. But keep hating people who have more money than you, you'll be broke the rest of your bleak existence.
