For anyone confused: This first part of the scene takes place in 2012. The door he went through was a time portal. He wound up in 2006, when the first movie takes place. At the end of the first movie Katie, the woman screams for Her boyfriend, Micah. This scene reveals why she was screaming and how Micah got killed.

Or the demon faked the scream itself. I like to think it's the first one because it makes it so much more terrifying. The look on Katie's face...

@@freddyvoorhees4293 No, Oscar was able to travel back in time. At one point in the film they meet 'Alex' stepsister of 'Hunter' the boy Katie stole from her sister after murdering his whole family. So it couldn't happen at the same time.

I love when they connect movies together. This was so well done.

Demitri Oxford Katie Went crazy then got possessed and Killed Micah Therefore they both got possessed and it ended to this Ending.

I had theory that Katie’s real soul actually was almost strong enough to show herself through the Demon’s possession and try to get Micah’s help, but the Demon overpowered her mind and soul, and completely took her over, and forced her to kill Micah.

The house that started it from the very beginning.

This was the only paranormal activity film that actually terrified me when I was younger. I kept looking behind me and my dad had to take me to my bedroom lol amazing work on this film. The way his friend went through the portal and was trapped and on his own and I felt bad for him when he met his fate.

Yeah, I know right. Imagine being in his shoes, scared and confused not knowing where you're at and looking for help only to be caught in a horrible moment and trying to get away only to get killed by the demon. You can tell he was scared and begged for help but found none in his dying moments.

So, now we all know what happened on Night 21 2006 when Micah stormed downstairs to immediately help Katie (his girlfriend) by when he heard her horrifically screaming, and then Katie gets repossessed and ends up killing Micah, while that guy with the camera went through that time travel door and went back to the year 2006!

I think he time traveled when the screen went fuzzy and the light came on in the garage and from that point on he was pretty quiet until Katie came down i think

My favourite scene in the movie! What a twist! And we saw what happened downstairs at the end of the first film! What a trip!

I love how everything just added up to all the movies. It showed what Katie was screaming about in the first one

So, this chapter is flashback to the Paranormal Activity 1 ending... all questions in PA 1 answered that Katie's scream saying "Micah" and then Micah step down and Died because of this

Basically in the movie a lady explains that there are portals to other dimensions. Time travel even. His friend Hector travels back in time and ends up amongst the first victims of the film back in the day. So its a flashback thingy with Hector getting killed by his friend whom of which also followed him through the portal and probably even killed that other chick in the house from the 1st movie

Alternate version of the Marked Ones (2014): Hector runs away and than he jumps out of the window or use a door and escapes the household of Katie and Micah to prevent himself from being attacked by Jesse and run away from the house and drive in a car and drive far away from their house as possible. That’s would have been a perfect alternative ending for the Marked Ones

At 2:03 me calling my brother and me lecturing him for him eating my leftovers, but my words killing him on the inside

I always envisioned Katie impaled Micah's body with a fatal, unaided blow powered by the demon's possession. That scenario seems more like the ending of the first film (than the stabbing scene here) in that the last moments seen were of footsteps (and only foot steps at that, no extra sounds of a body being dragged meaning Micah's dead or dieing body was probably being held up like a trophy) approaching the bedroom followed by Micah's body being violently thrown into camera view.

Couldnt help but laugh whenn she killed Micah hahahaha

This was definitely a pretty shocking ending!
