Paramedics Find Patient Who Broke Free From Hospital | Inside The Ambulance | Real Responders
Ойын-сауық
Twin paramedics find a patient who has fled from hospital before being properly discharged. The patient struggles with drug addiction and is in pain after his surgery. Elsewhere, the GP calls the paramedics as a 63 year-old man is struggling to breath. On the way to hospital his condition deteriorates. A patient falls unconscious and has potential life threatening complications.
For the very first time, an ambulance has been rigged with cameras that provide a unique perspective on what it's like to respond to emergency calls. 'Inside The Ambulance' follows paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service in England as they take us right into the heart of the action. We see heroism at work in the actions of these first responders. We also enter the lives of people in crisis and learn their unique stories.

Yeah the twins are adorable but what happened when they pick up a patient suffering a head injury? The poor patient is going to think the head injury is worse because Now they’re seeing double!
Imagine hitting your head super bad and then you see the twins.. Must feel weird and also scary for a second. To think its a really bad injury if you see double. :D

I've seen double before, even though it was actually triple. I saw one out of my left eye and then two split out of my right eye. (My injury was on the right side)

Anyone else keep thinking that “Fast A.F.” was code for “Fast as f**k”? I had to keep resetting my brain!
The purring kitty was A+
The cat was so adorable! Definitely trying to help the old lady
OMG Poor Sarah, I was so scared for her, I could literally feel her anxiety. 257 bpm in AFib is so scary. Bless her. ❤️
That yawn was as cute as a newborn baby yawn ❤😢
I know how she feels. I'm 62 and was diagnosed with afib a few years ago..you go into panic mode when it hurts to breathe.
I was a paramedic on an ambulance in Northern Minnesota. One time a guy tried to get the door open so he could jump out!!! I though, Good Luck.

@@dearsnow thank you. There was no way he could get out. Off we went to the 🏥 hospital
I have severe asthma and when I would go to the emergency room first you have to sit there for god know’s how long and then they ask you questions before you can go back there …I CAN’T BREATHE HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO ANSWER A BUNCH OF QUESTION’S JUST TAKE ME BACK THERE AND GIVE ME THE BREATHING MEDICATION AND THEN I’LL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS BUT WHEN I CAN BREATHE ‼️ There is nothing like not being able to breathe when I was younger ( in the day’s of oxygen tent’s ) I would sleep with a bottle of Primatene Mist under my pillow and sometime’s in my hand the feeling of not breathing is AWFUL ‼️‼️🥺
Thanks to all of you. God Bless you!!❤❤❤❤
I feel so bad for Sarah! She definitely needs a pacemaker to help keep her heart from fluctuating so often like they said her cardiologist was considering! Hopefully sooner rather than later for her because she just looked so panicked and miserable- which is totally understandable! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love this show. Wish I could see more. I'm in the states.
She said "Butts" hahahaha! Got to get those laughs when you can if you work in healthcare. When I got my mom the cat she had yearned for I had to get her declawed because of mother's frail skin. Fluffy would "play" and it would harm mother. People say its cruel for the cat, but she was so loved and after she healed up she never seemed to miss her claws. In fact she had the sweetest hands that she would pat you with and loved to hold hands with us. I miss them both so very much still. Fluffy always was mine in our hearts...and was so lovely. No more cats for us...but I really want one! Love this show. TY for airing it for us to enjoy~
My son is 24 and has AFib. I have AFib. DX’d at 54. Husband die from heart attack at 52.
Man, they would give me a headache like seriously, especially if I was under the influence of something it’s like beyond seeing double
I would hate being married to an identical twin for obvious reasons
So amazing
good show
The man that had knee surgery. If they would have gave him a little pain meds he probably would have stayed.Addiction is evil .Hope he gets better .💜☮️

They should have given him pain medication because he had a surgery. They did surgery and causes inflammation to outlining tissues. Even if, a patient is and drug addict, they have the right to be treated for pain postoperatively.
They look really young,a lot younger than 26. My daughters are like that, they look younger than what they are and I also looked young until I got in my 50's,I'm 68 now. I bet if I got some teeth,I'd look a lot younger.
It’s like oh hey, you don’t go up and give your girlfriend or your best mate the biggest hug ever and then it ends up being super awkward because how the hell were you supposed to know that it wasn’t the other one?
I absolutely love this show!!!
Love this show
3:35 This 2 twin sisters are going to freak out, stroke victims, people with head injuries and any older patients suffering Alzheimer’s or experiencing dementia….they’re going to think they are sicker than they thought because they’re now also seeing double!
The bruising on Elsie is also can be infectious and cause problems with immunity and sepsis.
30:06 Edema in her legs, makes me concerned about her renal function and any past cardiac issues. The fluid on the lungs worries me the most, her inactive life style suggests if it has progressed to pneumonia already is is highly likely it will but I’d be surprised if she is already suffering with pneumonia. It explains the upper back pain but that could also be caused by heart problems. Regardless, she definitely needs to be in hospital, diuretics and antibiotics are required. Even if the antibiotics are for prophylactic purposes. I especially want to check her heart on a ECG, at her age, that concerns me. Interesting to see what happens before a patient actually gets to me in ER. JBH (trauma Doc 22 yrs)
This seems so wholesome and sweet compared to most lol

Most don't care for the Socialized medicine, because you can't pick the same physician and may wait months for your appointment. Everything has it's give and take..eh?
@megangreene3955

@@markbirchette8740Oh well, we can't pick the same GP here in the United States and we have several months to wait for basic services like a dentist appointment or an appointment with the autism specialist. The only difference is we have to pay $$$$$ for care. The grass is not always greener on the other side. Sometimes you could give up your tax paid medical care and still not get in to be seen any faster, and then possibly face bankruptcy should anything happen to you and you need to stay in hospital for a long time.
I know medical services are free in the UK, but what about ambulance and medications? Are ambulance and medications free also?

Identical twins drive me crazy it is impossible to tell you apart I mean, like frick
That postop guy who left to score some cocaine and heroin, and have a beer with a mate: Here in the States, if you sign out Against Medical Advice, they'll let you die on the next corner. No search parties here, or paramedics kindly lassoing you back into the care you need!
I respect your business I will respect respect your life and respect your life your business business I respect respect your life business business and respect your business and respect respect your business and business business I will always have business business and respect
It’s no wonder the guy was out seeking cocaine. Paracetamol is Tylenol. Maybe if surgery patients were given proper pain meds instead of accusing us of “it’s all in our heads,” then maybe we wouldn’t be seeking on the black market.

Well if he was in treatment for addiction and was clean of opioids like heroin, giving them opioids like morphine might set off that addiction again, proving far more dangerous than the pain they'll have for a few days. Unfortunately its the kind of thing you set yourself up for when getting those addictions :(

Typical surgery patients don’t drug seek illegal substances for pain relief 😒 if you have a history of drug abuse you should have a conversation with your doctor about that beforehand to come up with an action plan to help prevent a relapse
They girls need to get Sarah to do valsalva maneuver. Maybe a mitral valve prolapse?
Like it would be helpful if at least one of you changed your hair colour or something
