I’ve been in a wheelchair for 12 years to and would love to see what it’s like walking again as well
Absolutely incredible work by the medical and scientific communities, wish they could all be thanked and acknowledged individually. Brings so much joy and hope- for this man and for anyone else in a similar situation. Many years ago my father had a severe stroke and it's nice to see this may eventually be used to help stroke survivors. Enjoy your beer and your walks, sir!
This brings so much hope
This is so awesome, I pray he gets better and better!

Me too!!!!
"1 small step for man.. 1 giant leap for mankind"
The problem with all these advancements in medical field is that it's in Europe (Sweden, Norway, Finland, France and etc). In US, it's an obstacle because of greed and political circumstances. I remembered reading 14-15 years ago that an Austin, Texan lady got into a car wreck. The doctor told her that she will be paralyzed the rest of her life in a wheelchait. She went to France and came back running.

Other countries pay for their citizens college education and medical care too. Imagine where we would be if the US did that.
I wonder if they have tried walking backwards, and getting data for that. Maybe that'll help the brain control the legs even more.
Thank you. Watching from Alaska.
I wonder if this would have worked for Christopher Reeve.

I wondered the same thing. I'm sure there was also other damage that this wouldn't be able to help with, though.

Reeve was a quad. I think this is better for the para community.
I know someone that could benefit greatly from this technology. Hopefully one day soon no one will have to be paralyzed. Thank Science.
God bless you and your family brother I wish you nothing but the best in your recovery to walk again I'm praying for you 🙏 blessings ✌️
Wonderful game changer.
Congrats. Good job to those that supports him. Positive attitudes.

when science & medicine fails, there's always technology
Wow. This is so impressive
I believe I've already seen this elsewhere in an earlier article provided by a different news media source. It is a breakthrough.

What's the point in showing us a miracle then plastering writing over it!!? Really!!
So my question is this! Can he feel fatigue in his legs now ?
When this treatment available for all spinalcord patients please tell me

How much would this procedure be? My brother in law has been in a wheelchair for over 15yrs this would be awesome for him
That's awesome, does this work on stroke patients?
With a little exercise....his muscles can be restored. Thankfully the machinery to help command his legas are available now...
My son wants to walk again. Have his body function feelings returned? My son has been in wheelchair 5 yrs, SCI T5.

Not in the US. People in other countries don't have to worry about affording medical care.
Please mention the name of country .
Muscles would be atrophied beyond stimulation.

♥️🌹 Think of lifting / raising your leg from your hip/knee (not focusing on your foot… ). ♥️🌹😅🤗
This is astonishing! And Musk out her putting implants in pigs thinking he a boss😂
This is so amazing but you know the medical world is so damn greedy this will never be affordable to everyone.😢

Not in the US anyway. Pretty sure where this guy is he doesn't have to worry about medical costs.
What kind of implants are in his brain and spinal cord? I am weary of any kind of implants in the brain and spinal cord. Yet I know there is risk and the risk is real.
It would have been nice if you didn’t have the blue wording going on on top of him walking. His walking is what we want to see.
We are officially in the future
Bravo ❤❤👏💪🏻👍🏼💐 Warum die Maske ist immer noch tragen ?

A true religious person would acknowledge that this is the body mixing with clay. True or false?
I feel so overwhelmed with happiness for him. Cried a bit too. This kind of stuff gets me in the throat everytime ✌️🤍🇨🇦👌
But how much can he deadlift bro?
