For soaring, we have the FLARM system which knows about such obstacles and gives a warning. Maybe that is available also for your sport.

it was a surprise as i knew about two lines, but i didn't know about this one, anyway seems to me extremely dangerous to have lines like that without any sign...

Glad you were able to recover and go back to normal flight! I think you need to buy a lottery ticket or something

Dann that was close. I've been flying maybe 100m next to that location and almost decided to fly there as well. There are pictures at the website and on the wall of the building that have the wire's positions marked, but I wasn't able to see them from the ground. Really sketchy, maybe I should try to find other safer routes up the Alpspitze in the future

different story in alpine places and without motor -> you often got the best lift there. But very dangerous of course. Apps like xcontest will support you with loud warnings though.

Since you are betting I see you haven´t checked, unlike me (I was checking FLARM obstacle database), and no, they aren´t there. And I was lucky, yet it is a questionable desing to have steel ropes like that without any proper sign.

Well i crashed into the steel line and was lucky, that I didn't hit the rock afterwards. So it's an accident with happy ending... Dunno what is your confusion about.

@@danizweifler6061 accidentally hitting a steel line with happy ending without an injury is still an accident. So take your sour attitude to someone who gives a hoot. :)

typical beginner's mistake, too close to the slope. If you haven't mastered the glider yet or the thermals are too strong, keep more distance in the terrain.
