It wasn't raining when I took off and I didn't intend to do that, but sometimes that's just how it goes in the UK!

Great video as always wetter than expected but at least we got a few flights & a bit of sight seeing in 😁

It's a no no for me too, but I just got caught out! After I hosed my Hadron 3 wing down a few months ago and it was literally dripping wet, I kited it and it flew just fine. If I ever get caught in the rain I trim out, get some altitude so I can throw a reserve and do shallow turns to avoid stalling the wing.

Beautiful part of the country, but single digit temperatures in the summer..... omg

I know right, the weather here this year has been particularly bad.

Great edit, Mark! 👍👍 Good to see you there! I was flying the same direction in your first flight, surprised we didn't meet in the air! Though I missed the rain - turned back before reaching Conwy... To be fair, we got more flying than the forecast was suggesting, so it was a win!

If I had taken off 30-40 mins earlier I probably would have been fine! Oh well...

Superb edit Mark. You definitely saw more of Wales than we did. Was not comfortable at all flying in the rain. ha ha. Great to see you again. We will definitely see you at the next one.

Another great video Mark. Amazed that you got 3 flights looking at the weather forecast. Looked like a good turnout despite the weather, must try and get there next year.

Yes I was considering not going because of the weather, but glad I went and I was surprised myself that I managed three flights!

If it got heavy with no sign of letting up, then I'd land. I could see in this case it was moderate and reducing. I trimmed out with minimal inputs to avoid a stall.
