Okay I am just carrying on what Minmin Li said. Long time ago (I mean over a hundred years ago), while slavery was still legal,people living lives served by many servants and maids. At the top of that was “Personal Servants”. These servants need only serve their master right,they don’t need to care anything else. In fact,these personal servants had their own servants. Besides taking care of their owner/master, they lived a live of slave master. These servants,however,are the belonging of their owners. Which means when their owners passed away, they will have to go with them. Yes, I mean they will die with their owners. Usually they will take the poison (while fully understand what will happen) and the others will take care of the rest. If they refuse to die, the other servants owners (usually the person who take care of the owner’s burial) will kill them by strangle, suffocate,drown, or anyway that will kill them without do harm to their appearance, before these servants goes to their master’s grave as belongings, like clothes or other personal belongings. These traditions,however, is ABSOLUTELY ILLEGAL today (BTW this is totally murder, please don’t do this,seriously). Yet the living still want to give servants to the dead, so what can they do? Paper Dolls! They made servants and maids out of paper, and bury them with their beloved,in hope that they have servants serve them on the way to heaven. This is where paper dolls come from. Paper Dolls have many use today,but all these use are related to death or “things don’t belong to this world”. That’s why in our religion, Paper Dolls itself is something “don’t belong to this world” at the first place.

Actually from Zheng Tong Emperor ( 6&8th emperor from Ming Dynasty ) reign ( 1464 ) his last will is tradition servant accompanied his / her master is forbidden.

Paper dolls, or “纸扎人” in Chinese are what we burn for the dead ...and this game is damn scary... 👻👻👻

It is during the 7th month of the Chinese lunar calendar where we make offerings for the dead. Besides the dolls, there are also mansions, banks, cars, phones, computers, paper monies just to name a few. The paper crafts mimics the items we have in real life and these are burned as offerings to the dead so that they can “enjoy” what we have.

im chinese，i know this game and i like this game《paper dolls》so much，This game is about the end of the Qing Dynasty in China, the game has a second part, the protagonist Yin master's wife raised a cat when she was a child, and then the cat died, A man in the bamboo forest told his wife that she could save her cat with her own soul. After the cat was resurrected, she was reincarnated as Yang Mingyuan (the protagonist of the game). After his wife married to the Yin House, many things happened (no spoilers here). In a way to reincarnate the reincarnation of Yang Mingyuan back to the Yin House seal paper, settle the grievances of the last world, Yang Mingyuan's daughter Meng Meng, is the painter Yang Mingyuan temptation back to the Yin House, Meng Meng this daughter does not exist in this world, his wife is Yang Mingyuan's benefactor

Is it just me or does it seems like every time a door opens it sounds like someone is going..."UUUUUUUGGGGHHHH!" in tired unwillingness. >XD

I had to up the playback speed, the character’s walking speed was slow. Thanks for playing this! So far I feel this game’s scary parts have awkward timing imo

Paper Dolls: The Endless DOORS! Never seen so many doors in my life, and why do all the padlocks on the door sound like the loading of a gun? This reminded me too much of RE7 and SH1that girl looked like she had on Cheryl's outfit.

When fatal frame and silent hill 1 have a baby

I'm a bit confused about the plot of the game. From what I was able to gather was that: The madam was married to the Lord. Throughout their marriage it seems that the madam could not get pregnant. However,when a painter suddenly came into their lives a short while later the madam ended up pregnant. A servant found that weird and obviously thought something was up (as seen in the note In the beginning). Apparently a servant (I think) found out that the cause of the madam getting pregnant was because she had a secret affair with the painter (or so she thought). Because this servant knew of her secret , the madam punished the servant (as seen when the ghost said she was scary). Then a little more into the game you find the madam hung by a noose In a room (i believe its the madam). So if it is the madam who was hung in that room she either killed herself because her beloved was killed,the lord killed her or the servants did and said it was a suicide. After this I'm still a bit confused as to why the ghost blame the dad for what the madam did to their family.

The madam actually the main character (reincarnation), she was killed by servants and turned into ghost killed all everyone, she didn't rest in peace but to come back again in here (that's why the main character was welcomed back by the ghost), last ghost was the Lord and we didn't know what happened to the painter ,to be continued in Paper dolls 2

The one was hung in a room is the personal maid of the madam. She try to help madam but was exposed, then she was strangled to death by the wet nurse of the lord, the wet nurse then tried to make to look like the maid hung herself. Main character is the madam's reincarnation and the daughter most likely is the painter's reincarnation too( in East Asia culture, there is an idea that the daughter is the lover of the father in past life ). What happen to the Lord, what is the secret on the upper floor with those coffins and what happened to the troupe ? We have to wait for part 2 unfortunately

I think the man with the daughter is the afterlife of the Lord's wife, who was called "Madam" in the game ( the Lord is who pushed him down the stairs at the end of the game beside his family coffins arround.). More evidences showed that from the beginning, the Lord voice said "Finally... You are back". The past ghosts when they were sealed always blamed him and called him by the first pronoun "You". Especially Ming, he shouted "Help me ! Sis Ding Xiang ! The Madam is so scary!". It may have been a bad memory in the past when she punished little boy when he learned about her affair with the painter. 我认为带着女儿的男人是主的妻子的来世，他在游戏中被称为“女士”（主在他的家族棺材周围的比赛结束时将他推下楼梯。）。更多的证据表明，从一开始，主的声音说：“终于......你回来了”。他们被封印时过去的幽灵总是责怪他并用第一个代名词“你”给他打电话。特别是明，他大喊“救救我！丁翔姐姐！女士太可怕了！”。过去，当她了解到与画家有染的情况时，她会惩罚小男孩，这可能是一段不好的回忆。

there's a second floor with a group of troupes and the mansion lord himself waiting upstairs. in this kind of game the story lies within clues, you'll find some surprises.

I don't understand the whole story. What does this have to do with the man who had the accident and his daughter?

Sure, it would be possible and likely not that much work but it can also be expected that people know how to use a search engine like Google... Personally, the information provided suffices for me. Others may want to know every little detail, like what it's played on, what kind of capture card was used, etc., but for me it's enough to know the name, whether it has commentary or not, and whatever else could affect the choice of which video to watch (i.e. completion). It's fine that people want to know these things but which platform it can be played on isn't hard to find out yourself.

Sorry to burry your own comment, but... the protagonist can run always... the player (in this case SHN) doesnt wanna run to inmerse us in the rol of a scared man that is in the damn house followed by ghosts and solving the mistery. Thats all folks, not the character, not the game, its the player.

The mirror reflects the correct door to enter and the door will be glowing green. It’s a maze puzzle. So every room looks the same. Turn the mirror until you figure out which door to go through. You do it maybe 4-5 times.

Hr and a half long? Short game

This is the most boring game I've had the misfortune of watching, which is nothing against this channel. I fell asleep watching the snail's pace of walking and cheap jump scares.

This game needs better sound effects and music

It's even more frustrating because the voices for the ghosts aren't...absolutely horrible. They aren't good, but they are miles better than the protag and his kid.

The in-game subtitles are so bad lol I know it's an Asian game but damn...
