Strip away the supernatural elements and this game all too accurately reflects how sick and twisted real life cults can be and often are. Especially those masquerading as something else.

I love horror/action/ games play with no commentary, it's like a movie.

The game looks amazing, but many of the cutscenes feel incomplete or not fully thought out. We watch this amazing cutscene that ends abruptly and wham we're somewhere completely alien. No build up, no foreshadowing. At times I thought this was a beta playthrough.

Between this game and My Friendly Neighborhood, not a bad week for indie horror games. Roughly 4 hours apiece? I'm getting so used to 20-30 minute concept games and I welcome something with a little bit of substance to it.

I usually watch gameplay with commentary but this was a really cool experience. Thank you keep up the great work

Because I am in Taiwan, this game is not available on the PS store, but it seems like a good enough game to play.

i feel like if this game had a lot more financial backing and it was more fleshed out it could be a great, longer game with a deep story. so far its very interesting and it gives off silent hill/dishonored/lust vibes it just feels like its falling a little flat. more depth to the story or more time to tell the story with some more side characters or interactions helping it along would be amazing. very cool though

@@MrXXUknownXx I dunno the city kind of gives off that vibe, but also with the different powers of the crystals and the movement around kind of also gave a Dishonored kind of vibe. There are points in the gameplay which makes it feel like wider exploration would have been present and I think this game could really benefit from having the kind of freedom you have in Dishonored. The look of the game as a whole looks like it could have been in the Dishonored universe if it was given a bit more polish and some added features. As i said, if there were more character interactions and more environmental story telling along with some more story focused side quests, itd feel very similar to dishonored. The masks also kind of play a part into the Dishonored feel, and they way they give you a new way to look at the game and their mechanics.

A lot of the reviewers I read seem to echo that. The game had potential and moments where it truly shown, but it is held back by what felt like a rushed development. Makes me wonder if there is a version in the universe where this game game out in its best form.

Watched it all, Interesting game, reminded me of Lust series, both have a lot in common, sect, promise of Heaven which turns to be hellscape (yest in Lust its more like alien world) then dilapidated city. Speaking on City, i kinda not understood, it. was it afterlife or just...another dimension? Was it physical place, or Prophet actually died in real world? Also whole sect, was it powerful? It seems like it dominated all surrounding and people minds, but nobody peeked his nose? In Lust it was secret society so no logical problem, but here its like Megachurch. And why this Eternal City is...goddamn modern city? I mean come on! Ending is unclear and whole picture in City isnt developed enough. What is the point of all this, to live in apartment forever but free of "hunger and death" ? I feel like developers took some religious words WAY too literally.

Can someone plz help explain that ending like did her son bring here back and let the rest of the world burn or something I’m so confused
