Constance Connie I really does, I hate people who talk endlessly during commentary. I don’t mind if it’s a true reaction and it’s about the game but I hate when they talk about their life or nonsense. I watched Lollipop chainsaw walkthrough and this dude was talking about his accent, almost had a panic attack

They are both in a their own way, but 99% of those who makes commentary videos never shut up and add their own voices in their, for example like they are scared and make these weird voices. some, and rare players, will add commentary like they would say the reason they took the left door instead of the right, and shut up, instead of saying their life story why they picked the right door.

There is something relaxing in your walkthroughs and your style of playing horror games, your channel is one of my favorite channels on this meduim.

This guy cannot hold onto that accent.

So all of this were just stories invented by the guy who "guides" us ?? My theory is that the guy had such a bad childhood and was so stressed out by the potential death of his son that he decided to write it in a fantastic way to get through this. He wanted to sell his books to earn money but it didn't work.

One thing I like about this game is the multiple endings and scenarios, and how the narrator reacts differently to each. So the only thing that concerns me is: is the narrator a good guy or a bad guy?? So the narrator is.... himself...... he's a bad guy

Agree 100%. Hadn't heard of this game, not particularly interested to be honest, but skipped through the video to get an idea. Oh boy, that voice acting is atrocious! In every aspect, recording quality, the performance itself, the writing, ... the whole package. It's the most horrifying part of the game.

This is incredible for an early access game, though I think it's main two problems (for me anyway) are how the earpiece guy can get incessant and mood-breaking, and then the scene that rips off of Cry of Fear so wholesale that my opinion plummeted for that alone. I guess you could argue for homage, but that doesn't feel like the case here.

This is the only channel for me for horror.thx for playing for all of us.

I heard this game got scarier and scarier each play through. First and second had me for sure. The spider demon and the ending was bleh and so was the rest of it. I did enjoy the story until the end where the guy in the ear piece and the character sound the exact same. Then it just became confusing. Also what happens if you open the door?? Really enjoyed watching you play though. Very thorough. I’m subbing!

I interpret the story as follows: there's this guy with a successful businessman as a father, who basically expects his son to follow in his footsteps and eventually take over his business. The son gradually realizes that this is not what he actually wants to do, and he eventually stops and becomes a writer. He then gets a partner and a son, but his son has medical complications which leads to medical bills piling up (side note: this is set in England where I don't think medical bills are a real issue, at least not to the point of bankruptcy, but anyway). His gig as a writer cannot sustain these bills, so he looks to another way: crime. He plans to break into a house, but when disabling the alarm accidentally causes a fire which kills all three occupants of the house (which is why the game stresses the cutting of the wire so much at the start and again at the end). Most of the game is a metaphor for the main character's moral struggle with his murder: he tries to conjure up ways to justify his deeds; the first guy he killed actually had a basement full of animal torture, the last one was some weird demonic spirit or something, etc. The guy in his earpiece is himself, or rather his conscience. The only thing I can't really reconcile is the ending. He has to choose between focusing on his career as a writer which would ruin his relationship, or ask his father for help which would put his son in the same position he himself was originally in as his father's successor. But I have no idea why that choice is relevant if he ended up committing a crime anyway. Maybe I missed something there.

@@thebmachine3125 I think the "crime" is actually what his stories were about. He wrote several, but they all got rejected as mentioned at the end. I think each path we see in the beginning is each of the stories that got rejected. The incomplete story of him making it out at the end, seems to be the last book he is writing. The choice at the end seems to just be there to wrap it all up. That's my interpretation.

The guy talking in your ear that chimes in every couple seconds is so irritating. It completely kills any atmosphere, scares and tension the game is trying to set up. You can't really immerse yourself because the guy won't shut the hell up. That aside, great video regardless lol.
