Man you can't beat that paper texture moving between around subtly between every other frame or so-- REALLY sells the stop motion
That is looking good! I can almost hear it saying: "hello, and welcome to the Crafman show. My name is your host, the Crafman. The last swction of mouth movements i dont know though, since that's where you usually dive away out of view. 🤣
Ever thought of a diy on making a candle and carving it? It would be a nice relaxing SteadyCraftin vid for the fall.

Bugs 'speak' to each other through scent trails, and i like to think this fella tried to teach himself human speech! Right now he's only got as far as moving his mouth around, though... he'll figure the rest out eventually. All the actual talking nd whatnot. Hehe

Looks great! Any particular reason you decided on a "hand-held" look, instead of a "tripod" or steady shot? Can't wait to see what it turns into!
This is what happens when the director gets a little TOO afraid of having the Boom Mic in the shot!

Thank you! Edius is my NLE for video editing, but most of what you're seeing is accomplished with the live-action footage plus After Effects. Once I finish the animation, I'd like to put out a behind-the-scenes. :)
