This video is a story of papaya tree from its planting to harvest.
Variety: Red Lady Papaya (Source: Saplings from nursery)
Potting mix: 90% coco coir + 10% soil (primarily for weight)
Watering: Daily with Hydroponics Nutrient (grow formulation till flowering, Bloom post flowering)
Container Size: 22 inch pot
Planted location: Open to sky (6th floor)
Yield so far: 15+ of between 900-1600 grams each.
Brix (Sugar % ): 16

    Hi...my papaya plant leaves r drooping downwards...wat. could be the reason...how do I revive back...and the leaves turn yellow.. I have planted in a big pot...and around 9 months...buds cm. but doesn't open... Pls. Help...thanks

    Nice. Don't mind me asking, how many gallon container are you using for this papaya plant?. Looking at the size of the plant and it's fruits, what size would you recommend. Thanks

    I’ve been wrong before but the pots in the video look like 7-15 gallon

    Awesome as always. How did you avoid yellow mosaic? What is the nutrients to water ratio?

    Thank you Srikanth. I didnt do anything specific to avoid the virus. Infact there was no spray at all. There was a sign of virus couple of months back. The fruit size reduced but it again bounced back. The nutrients are always 2-2.5 EC. pH is 6-7. I guess increasing the EC may benefit the plant but I water the same solution for all plants. :-)
