I have followed Loma from Salido through now so I have some historical perpspective on him and don't get me wrong he's still a great fighter but........I Have to question everyone's "Best Coach in the World" comments today...that strategy of giving away 5 or 6 rounds in the first 6....was not one I'd call pure genius....it was a huge mistake and they outthought themselves...sad for Loma, b/c its a huge stain on his professional career now. I think Loma beats him if he goes out with confidence and his regular fighting style of pressure.....And if you don't agree with me, step back and think about it for a sec before you reply that Im wrong.

When did he say they planned to give away 5 or 6 rounds? Lopez was saying KO in the first 6 so that's why Loma was cautious. Once he realized it wasn't going to happen, and that he had fallen behind being over cautious, he tried to turn it up but Lopez was already in his zone and had his confidence. Nobody starts a fight with the intentions of giving away half of it. When Lopez threw the first punches of the fight it was already sealed.

@@nickgenus1361 you ever watch Loma fight? trust me, that was planned to not mix it up, and it was a mistake...in fact looking at the punch stats, it wasn't itl the 8th that he really threw....but then again knowing the shoulder situation, I now know why he did what he did....let me be clear, the better man clearly WON....loma was stupid for taking that fight he should have put it off til 2021, but his ego probably got in the way

Impartially one would call this completely uncharacteristic of Lomachenko...so that being said, Knowing that what makes Lomachenko great is his constant pressure and coming from all the angles...don't ya think 7 rounds of no pressure is a bit off?

@@other4819 a bit off? Sure. I said they didn't plan to give away half the fight as nobody ever does. He was trying to be too cautious of a KO and when he realized it didn't happen in the first 6, probably because Lopez wasn't trying for it, he wanted to catch up and fight in round 7. Simple.

Я с коллегой на работе поспорил на 5000 грн. что Васёк прихлопнет Лопеса до 6 раунда. Я дал Лопесу максимум 5 раундов,а он мне выдаёт мол может даже Вася проиграет, я говорю ему ты чё об сосну головой ударился? шоб Вася проиграть? Спорим на пятишку что Вася выиграет и вообще прикоцает до 6 рауда! Я тоже вместе с Васей проиграл! Я очень надеюсь и просто прошу умоляю Василий Анатольевич выбей себе бой реванш и всыпь Лопесу так чтоб больше не хотел боксировать, я уверен ты можешь ты сильнее! Один бой ничего не доказывает, полюбому нужен реванш, в истории бокса всегда так было!

@@nickgenus1361 loma for sure won rounds 2,7,8,9,10,11 The only rounds lopez won (except 12) were rounds loma didnt throw any punches..so those rounds were just handed to lopez. And even in round 12 loma landed a lot of clean punches. Watch round 12 unbiased and with the sound off. It was a close round.

ЛОМА, что.. Кончился? Стоило господу богу проучить его за Гордыню, как он сдулся??)) Уроки господа надо принимать достойно!!! Лома слишком далеко зашел, чтоб все бросать.. Щас нужна будет громкая победа.. Помимо Лопеса (который явно откажется от реванша) там есть звери, вероятно покруче, типа Джервонты и Хейни.. Так что, проигрыш Лопесу можно закрыть любой победой над топом в этой весовой.. Просто легко не будет, но когда Васю это останавливало😊
