Now tell me what will u say when Teofimo wins, I feel like I can relate to Teofimo and I know what he feels inside, with me i feel the opposite but the same my farther was once like a second coach and my biggest supporter but then he wanted nothing to do with it, no nothing, would even tell me at one point to give up fighting, the most important thing in my life, without it I feel empty inside, but that pain I felt made me come back stronger, I see it in Teofimos eyes he feels so god damn dependant on boxing, he has no fear of any man but fear of failure, boxing is like a farther to him. I wouldn't say that my dad is bad, he ain't perfect but I love him to pieces, I just miss my biggest supporter, because without him I would have never started boxing.

Honestly, hearing Teo talk about his dad makes me want to root for Loma to win this more, only to serve as a wake up call to Teo's father. Kid needs a strong support system at this level. Losing to a top 3 P4P isn't the end of the world, especially at his age, but this is his story, not anyone else's.

There’s a fine line between instilling confidence into someone, and lying to them. Telling Teo he’s invincible, can cause way more harm then good. It’s similar to Rhonda Rousey. She was led to believe she couldn’t be beaten, so when it happened, she had absolutely no idea how to deal with it. This could be a similar situation. Even during the fight, how will Teo handle it when things aren’t going the way his dad has told him they would go? It’s a father living through his son at all costs, and a son that has no idea how to handle things by himself. I honestly feel sorry for Teo.

This fight makes me anxious. I love what both of these fighters have accomplished. Its a classic case of heavy hitter vs boxer. One times for a knock out ,the other for openings to out box the heavy hitter. The longer the fight goes the better it is for the boxer, obviously.

I hope these shows become a more regular thing with Top Rank for big fights.

Its seems lik big problems in the lopez camp.. father son drama .. think theo is fighting his dads battles.. it may hav been wiser for theo to fight another 2 or 3 years before taking this step up.. but i guess dad was still pissed about his meeting with loma and wants his son to do his bidding.. its obvious this relationship wont last..you will see theo with a new trainer after this fight.. sad indeed

It does affect you bro,you can't ignore that. It's his blood father, not just a coach. Lopez dad wants attention on him not his son,talks more than son,while he's son is the one fighting and risking his life,not him. I just hope lopez gets a proper trainer after he loses to Loma. Not every fighter will have a relationship like papachenko and Loma.
