Terrific sound and visual combo

This was part of the Legendary Masters: Rural Blues series that Canned Heat’s Bear Hite compiled in 1970. Amazingly great series -- never reissued on CD, so you know it must be good.

I have Rural Blues Vols 1&2 on CD, BGOCD384 original copyright 1968, reissued 1998. BGO stands for Beat Goes On and this is an English label. Might be worth trying to track one down!

gitfiddlejimagain It is his first version, released on Imperial 1954. A more polished version was recorded and released on Savoy 1955. Personally I think this version is the best, but the other one is tops too.
