Nice work capturing the times of Paoli People, Courthouse and Square. Love seeing the Kraft Truck and the horse in the back end of a truck parked on the square. Keep it up! I was looking for information about the Lithia Well and Maria Radcliff Park when I came across this.

I wish you the very best of luck in pursuing this project. Smaller towns and rural areas are so often overlooked, but their histories are fascinating.

I must express my excitement and pleasure in what my friend and fellow Paolian is doing for our hometown, Paoli, Indiana. Duane, with his multi-talented skills and dedication, is the perfect person to assume such a historical project. He will successfully combine history with a little nostalgia of Paoli, Indiana the Orange County seat, using today's media for all to enjoy and learn from. Everyone can benefit from his record of Paoli's past. His project, created from an earnest desire to portray Paoli as it was then, is something not only for history buffs who learn from the past, but also for those who enjoy seeing a bit of those by-gone days. This will be exciting to watch as it is sure to develop into an ever-lasting record of "how it was" growing up in a typical small town, that friendly and safe little community in Orange County, south-central Indiana. I support Duane in such an effort and encourage the commission: "Do not to let this opportunity slip by." We need Paoli's story told in this manner which will add so much in preserving the history of Paoli and Orange County. It is sure to be a truthful legacy told in typical southern Indiana fashion by one who grew up there surrounded by its town folks. Such is video artist Duane Busick, Paoli native. Thank you, Duane and thank you to the IAC. I am one of many eagerly looking forward to his project's end result, Marie Stout Newlin.
